How does staff expect us to defeat lv40's who have 1700 hp with 500 offense and 300+ defense?

The sudden raise by 4 was uncalled for, who asked for this?

It's near impossible for us lv35's to even stand a chance against people higher leveled.

1, class balance is as bad as ever.

2, Cybers and Blood mages get ignored every update as usual after being nerfed to oblivion.

3, Bounty Hunters as ever are the most OP class.


What do you think about the raise? And the additional stats legendary players get per additional rank?

Exactly. The level 40 BHs have high defenses, and deal massive damage. Worst of all, they have 1700 HP.

It is virtually impossible to defeat them.

Maybe they did this so people spend more money changing class to BH now that very few people play the game.

I'm not a fan of legendary stats. There are cybers with 97% win rates. I think the class is doing well. Bloods are indeed at a bad point. And lvl 35s go against lvl 30s all the time. ITS THE CIRCLE OF LIIIFE. And BH isn't OP. Don't know what you mean by that.

Super strong HP regen, debuff, shields, smokescreen, static grenade.

Please explain why people are switching to BH after the update.

Because people are unoriginal copy cats. Static grenade isn't very effective now. Many classes can make str builds to compete with BH. The fact is most people are just too unoriginal to do so.

I knew this was a bad idea to be honest. I was able to be 3 level 39's 2 of them with luck and one without, but all adding these levels encouraged was for the hardcore players to use quick kill builds to get to the top fast and for casual slower players to be the punching bags of these high level players.

1 level at a time was ok since it didn't create balance issues, but 4 at once with a small player base? Sorry only cases issues since you won't get variety of players (fighting the same players 3-4 times every hour) and to top it all off the same builds.

The level curve didn't help too much ether since it only served to make those hard core player get their faster.

My advice for improvement would be for the future stick with 1 level at a time and don't add a whole bunch at once.

I believe 40 is the permanent cap, just that the Legendary ranks will continue to increase. Still, I agree that increasing by 4 at one go was done in the favour of hardcore gamers. These "hardcore" people are the ones who spend the most money on the game, and it is surprising how the dev team pander to their needs more than to others, given that they have never done that in the past. The game must not be doing too well, I suppose.

^ Look at the dying player base.

In gamma, there usually 2k+ people playing at the same time most of the day.

Now, barely 500 play most of the day.

I am a BH. I've been BH since GAMMA. Don't use it against me, that'll get you no where. And its the most unoriginal? Its one of the original three...

Good for you, I was a BH in beta.

How is it the most original? The only build I have seen is strength/high HP.

I said this before and I will say it again.

The reason the player base went down/continues to go down is because of the following.

Omega when it was launched took away a lot of what the players loved while giving very little in return.

1 NPC wins
2 Varium advantage
3 Poor compensation for enhancements

One and two on the list helped distract players from the other balance issues that were present, however by removing them players were forced to embrace the problems without an escape which caused them to leave.

Not only that but they never fixed all the old problems which is what is causing newer players to leave and causing many of the older players to quit.

And do you know why? Out of the class' 7 offensive skills, 5 of them rely on str. It doesn't exactly leave bounties with much variety.

Yes, removing NPC wins and XP was one of the worst moves. I do not support repeated farming of NPCs, but in times of horrible balance like Omega, players definitely need to turn to another source to stop the losses.

BH has a decent number of skills that increase with support.(unless I am wrong)

Both shields and static grenade. Thats a pretty good 3 skills for tanking.

While it does have three skills that increase with support, none of them are offense. You can't exactly kill an enemy by throwing up shields.

It's funny because every time my class becomes 'OP' (they have rotated for the last couple of years), I always switch away and try and find new builds with the weaker classes. For example, I haven't been anything but a CH and BM for the last 6 months. This game used to be about making your own unique build that distinguished you from everybody else. These days its about switching to the best class, so you can pick on those of us that arn't here because we solely want to win. When I used to get discouraged because of this silly copy cat mentality, I would switch over to NPC's until I could come up with a build that worked (at least until the next trend showed up to destroy what I had made). The situation was bad enough before the level cap raise, but now it's just hopeless. I never played this game to 'win', but nobody likes losing. I'll never play the OP class, and I'll never understand why people choose to do so. There's no victory in defeating players when you had no hand in their defeat.

Losing to someone higher level to you is perfectly understandable. I don't get why you would complain about 35s not standing a chance against 40s. I mean, how did you think 31s felt back when level 36 was the level cap? What I do agree is that raising it by 4 all at once is definitely too much.

I wasn't talking about you being off topic, but all of us.


And Nexus, I was not talking about an individual. I was generalizing based on what I have seen since beta. BH have use 1 maybe 2 builds throughout GENERALLY.

Its just most 36s aren't used to being the ones on the losing side after so long being on top. I for one, can perfectly understand my defeats. NOT. Everyone gets upset for losing. You just have to understand there are some situations which the enemies' build is superior to yours and when that isn't the case, learn from your mistakes. And of course there is the big luck system but...

But now to topic.
It is too big advance now some classes and fast players. Some players can gain very fast exp. that making leveling up little bit devious.
Fast players is too easy to play against weaker 2-5lvl. Let's hope now that the game's makers have made ​​the game balance fixes as well.

There's pretty much no doubt that those who managed to get to level 40 in like 3 or 4 days have been using XP Boost, which is a varium-only feature.

GearHeadz, I don't want to talk about BH in this thread, this thread is about the LEVEL CAP.

Once legendary ranks are released, we should stop battling but just give up.

No fun in fighting legendaries with 2k hp and 100 in each stat.
