With these str BH, I noticed no one was using these bots.

I used it a couple of times and surprisingly it worked.

However the bot is near useless most of the time.

I propose that the bot special should be activated on strike, cores and robots which would bring it on par with other bots.

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 2:32:11)

There's just so many ways to get around this, I've had it used on me quite a bit and I just, Frost Shard, Gun, Bludgeon and it's over. This does not include platinum pride, meteor and what have you other physical skills.

I have been advocating buffing the weaker bots for so long now I gave up. I am sick of Android, poison robot or not, their buddy Abyss robot. Darn abyss robot, who keeps thinking up these cheap bots?

edwardvulture -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 2:32:21)

It's a situation bot. When you fight strength bh's and you get them to 0 energy, You can use it after they gun and they probably will skip turns instead of attacking themselves which is like 2 stuns.

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 2:34:14)

@ Edward

You cannot predict the outcome of the fight that far down the line, and I don't think they're going to lose any sweat over it.

ansh0 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 2:48:38)

People can use cores to get around the strike which makes the special redundant.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:06:52)

I think the special should work on both primary and sidearm. Your opponent can still get around it with free cores, aux and bot, when out of energy. Since guns are currently usable during the special's effect, it's close to useless, imo.

DarkDevil -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:11:48)

well , its to last for 3 turns and in wrost cases it could reduce an attack , making it to sidearm will only leave cores and aux and bot , what if i am not a focus 5 or i don't have cores ?

i think instead of making a backfire it should work like yeti and eat the primary.

which means to remove the damage of the primary weapon for 3 turns so any skill that uses primary will be weaker.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:27:31)

@DarkDevil, Most people do have cores, if you don't, you're just in really bad luck if someone uses this bot. Also, remember that those who do not run a 5 focus build, usually have bots that do not rely on focus to work their specials properly, like Assault Bot, Blood hawk, Azrael Borg, the list goes on (most being rare or promo, fair enough)

Mother1 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:33:05)

The point to this bot is to make your opponent play out of their comfort zone by making them want to avoid the special. Having that power over your opponent is very tactical and useful. At best you can make them skip if time right So I say no to buffing this bot.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:43:06)

@Mother1, Unless I'm wrong, sidearms have a cooldown of two turns, auxes three, bots four, cores none. It isn't possible to use this special effectively as long as the opponent is fully equipped. Actually striking your opponent is... in most cases, not necessary.

Mother1 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 9:54:16)

@ Martinsen5

Not the point I am getting at. Depending on situation you can force your opponent into using either skills, or moves they may not want to use.

For example, you use smoke and only have a physical primary but energy weapons. I use the bunny bot, and boom for 3 turns that debuff won't help give you extra damage. Normally your opponent would strike you but unless they want to strike themselves they will go around it, and in certain situations that can be what you want them to do.

Just because this bot isn't any easy to use bot, and takes brains to use doesn't mean it is underpowered.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 10:04:28)

@Mother1, Well even so, the bots' special only works in veeery spesific situations, making it probably the worst and last option to most players. As you say, the bot is hard to use but not useless, on the other hand if we compare it to other bots there are much better options in terms of usefulness per battle.

The bot is still left situational and very tactical, even if sidearm and primary were unusable, as there are so many ways to get around it. Imo anyway. I do however think that the wrong kind of buff would make it overpowered.

Dual Thrusters -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 11:57:57)

How about make color blast's effect last forever - until the opponent triggers the effect.

ED Divine Darkness -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 13:08:06)

perfect idea dual. [:)]

Altador987 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 13:13:05)

horrible idea, there's literally no risk to that then you could just use the bot at the beginning and wait for it to work, just because it's harder to use doesn't make it worthless... i would say make the damage done if the skill works stronger to not only give more incentive not to use regular strike but to reward the strategy of the user

i can see what you're saying, but right now robots like abyss and hawk have 100% usefulness while bunny has no guaranteed usage. but this robot is useful vs builds with a debuff, but only their sword matches the debuff and their robot is without focus.

precisely what mother said:

GearzHeadz -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 14:44:36)

Okay, before I comment, does this bots effect work on skills like smoke, mark, bludgeon, double strike, massacre, etc? Because if it doesn't, I think it should. The bots ability should against any move that involves a primary. And if it is a skill that is used such as smoke, the target wouldn't apply the effect or cost energy, but the skill would go into cool down.

i agree, but it shouldnt put it on CD cos the skill isnt having its effect.

Mother1 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 15:30:17)

@ gearheadz

That would overpower this bot since any melee or none melee move would be affected. It would disable every kind of build used again.

GearzHeadz -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 15:32:42)

No, unblock ables would be fine like plasma bolt, overload, multis, bunker, grenades, plasma cannon, satellite strike, and guns and bots. Also shields and debuffs or heals. Or cores.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 17:53:31)

@Dual Thrusters, That would clearly overpower it, as all builds eventually will be left with nothing but strike, even those fully equipped.

@GearzHeadz, Some classes rely more on skills that are triggered by their primary weapon, than other classes. This wouldn't be fair to some classes, as others use more ranged skills than close-combat skills.

GearzHeadz -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 19:17:49)

You can't be fair to all classes sometimes. It's like when yeti chomp came out and mages were complaining on how it affected their deadly aim. Or how the spiderlings affects bounties and blood mages more than others. While some do have more skills, there Are still options to use in all classes. Or guns, auxs, bots, cores to use. I myself am a BH who doesn't have this bot, and it would greatly affect me in a negative way, but this bot needs a buff.

martinsen5 -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/26/2013 19:30:45)

@GearzHeadz, Well Chomp isn't exactly forcing you to skip turns, like Bunny Bots' special obviously would to the more unfortunate classes. I see what you mean though, but I don't feel like it's comparable at all.

The bot should be buffed, I agree! But I'd rather see it disable sidearm + primary, tbh.

AQWorldsFarmer -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/29/2013 17:38:30)

Maybe change it from just strike, to any melee attack?

GearzHeadz -> RE: Bunny bot buff? (12/29/2013 18:57:05)

That is what I had said
