GearzHeadz -> Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 15:12:01)

Is there any proof in game that Baelius is even a real person? Did anyone ever see him? What is the proof of this? Is it possible that he is just a 'Big Brother' face for the legion? Could it be possible that all the administrators are in charge of the legion? Conspiracy theories go! If you have any other conspiracies or theories about the game, feel free to discuss them here!

Chosen 0ne -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 20:16:43)

I made a thread like this before, Epic Duel Theories I called it.

Here is my own theory of Balius.

It is in my theory that Balius is Nightbane from adventure quest.

Why would I think this? I'll tell you why!

Epic Duel goes super early in Lore's timeline to make this work. Balius took over this world with Legion forces and made a tyrannic government until the citizens had enough. What would happen is the Exiles took over and overthrew Balius, forcing him to flee.

Balius fled to a distant planet and landed in the town of Battle On.

You can see that Nightbanes name is actually Balius here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=17474352

Anyways, Balius, still hungry for power, went to darkovia to learn the dark arts. It was there he met up with Wolfwing and become one of his best students, mastering skills very quickly.

Since balius (Nightbane) was hungry for power and wanted more, he drank the blood of 1000 dragons to become the most powerful monster in darkovia. He would be a Draco Werepyre!.

I have more to this theory and it's interesting if any of you wish to hear it. But it's the type of thing that is only interesitng if you know the dracopyre legacy in Adventure Quest classic.

I don't think so. One, after Nightbane died we got a look at him in human form, and he looked nothing like EDs Baelius images, two, ED is taking place during the timeline as mech quest, so the universe hasn't been reset yet to create that lore.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 20:37:49)

actually ED exists outside of the AE universe, so despite what happens in the AE universe like the reset it would never affect the ED universe. the only reason that dage the evil npc and charfade is implemented is because they are part of the AE team and have some spare time to make weapons for ED(this applies to dage only since char is part of the ED team), so what better way to make them more recognizable than to put in the forms that players of AE would know.

IMO i think baelius is like a cybernetic being or a computer virus since he craves immortality going as far as to make himself a cyborg, and making himself a computer virus would make him immortal, that also explains a hologram of only his head during the infernal wars.

GearzHeadz -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 20:43:58)

But I thought the only reason why the Dragonoid ad Charfade ended up in ED is because at the end of mech quest Charfade shot her and the Dragonoid into a wormhole. And Charfade's wormholes only teleported you to different locations, not different universes. Or I could be mistaken and it could of. I don't know.

I do know this, but sometimes it's fun to connect things and to pretend.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 21:00:02)

well AE does some crazy stuff like the time that i remember that nightwraith's NPC ended up in herosmash due to his teleporter malfunctioning and teleported him to a different reality/universe.
in a game anything is possible but its up to the writers to make it believable.

Chosen 0ne -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 21:57:04)

I think the real conspiracy is who is m4tr1x and where did she come from? What role does she serve?

GearzHeadz -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 22:03:03)

Ah yes a very good one!

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/30/2013 22:07:06)

@chosen most likely an artificial being that's designed to handle/manage data and manage the technology of delta v, kinda like the controller in doctor who badwolf episode, since when class change was first introduced it was only available at the m4tr1x.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/31/2013 2:51:16)

Baelius was brought on earth to be Latin Lover's husband. They rule ED together taking names and enslaving lost souls. Even though he knows that Latin Lover is the leader of the exile forces, he has a relationship wth her underwraps. She finds out that he tries to play mind games with her and banishes him to the cyber world where he remains as only a shadowey disfigurement. He stays in the infernal mines to be the protector of the mines that Latin uses to fuel the weaponery for her extreme war gains. As she looks over her forces in each battlemode and controlling her own, Baelius tries to earn back her love by being the "mothership" for the exile forces, giving them info to take over the different battle points. Thus, why exile leads in war captures daily.

Your welcome.

Riiiight... Definitely a conspiracy.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/31/2013 6:09:31)

Baelius is the Vendbot.

ShadowWraith -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (12/31/2013 22:26:04)

I don't know how much authority Titan and Nightwraith even have anymore. They still had plenty of power during Beta. They gave everyone 100 varium then multiplied it by 10. (I got 1000 free varium) Epic Inventions was bought a long while ago.

Anywho, on topic. Baelius is probably so crazy dude far away. He's the Emperor and has a Death Star. I think the Junkers are the important ones here. There is the original Junker, there's Junker 2.0, but is there Junker 3.0? Is Junker 3.0 actually Baelius!? Who knows.

Steel Slayer -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (1/1/2014 9:37:05)

Baelius, grassy knoll, nuff said.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Is Baelius even real? And other conspiracies. (1/1/2014 10:14:39)

I don't know about how real Baelius is but if you go by Roman logic you fear the name and not the person. If everyone was sent to the void by Baelius save for his administrators Baelius could have died and been replaced. Or Baelius could be a crippled old man because being in the void has temporal properties and in theory every player left the void at the same time and all arrived at different times.

What I am waiting for the Descral to let her lust for power lead her from under Baelius into her own third swath of actual evil not just Legion or Exile. And yes I did say Legion and Exile are both evil just read up on lore through the wars and you can't miss it
