Liking posts (Full Version)

Hi everyone. Just wanted to share an idea. I've seen on some forums that there is a 'like' button on the bottom right of each post, so you can like someone's post. I thought it would be a good idea to have this in our forums here. What do you guys think?

We sort of had that with the "rate my post" with stars it got out of hand because of spam and other ways people did to get people to "favorite" their post. I don't see the need for this feature to be brought back to be honest.

That is not the type of spam Hollow Knight is talking about. What it boils down to is people would post something and then would "campaign" to have other people rate them and it just becomes a mess. Those that need to rate posts can and that is all that matters. If you agree with what someone said you can just make your own post and say why you agree with them. Just make sure you follow the rules of said forum.

As Hollow Knight stated, this feature was already implemented in the past and failed to serve much purpose. Adding it again would only result in useless competitions between forumites for "who can get the most likes".

Seeing as it was already tested and didn't succeed, I doubt we'll be bringing it back. Thanks!
