toopygoo -> Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 16:42:01)

sorry, the title may mislead a little... but thats why this sint in balance.

What i propose is that, when youre in a 2v2 battle, and your partner quits or exits the battle before it is over, you can gain 1.5 times the credits OR exp... depending on which one you want more. i dont think it would unbalance the levelling system a whole lot, as levelling has been made easier overall, thus the potential to gain (at most) 10 EXP more per loss, when your partner quits, should not have a significant impact. However, i think people would feel satisfied choosing a prize for enduring when their partner didnt.

any thoughts on this?

i support because its not fair when you leave someone behind

What if you're one turn away from killing and then your partner disconnects or something? This only works if your partner leaves before he/she right in the beginning.

This is one of the best suggestions I've heard. It's a total pain to have your partner leave(trust me, it's happened to me more times than I want to remember), and your idea would at least make it less damaging to leveling up.

Brilliant Suggestions, I feel sometimes people leave me on purpose. The same person will leave everytime they're on my team. Need an anti quitter mechanic.

@ valkyrieknight

We do have something like that in the form of temperory's bans. if the same person runs 5 times in a row they get a small ban from dueling.

Even so that still does not ease the suffering of players like me, who are now forced to 2v2 because of the current imbalances deal with people constantly leaving fights.

usually i quit while the partner do a freak move or skip the turn and am frequently suspended

toopygoo -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 22:06:55)

Well im speaking from experience as well :/

I got disconnected from games 2 times ina row... i felt bad fro my partner when we were close to winning, and i wish they woulda got my rewards since i coudlnt.. it does go both ways in my opinion, so it would be nice :)

Jekyll -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 22:55:32)

The ban for leaving games is a mere 5-10 minutes. This means that the irresponsible partner can leave 15 games per hour, causing 15 separate losses. What I suggest is to increase ban time to 15-20 minutes, and carry out the aforementioned solution.

GearzHeadz -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 22:56:08)

I don't see this as a solution, just a way to make people feel better.

NDB -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 23:29:46)

^Agreed.

dfo99 -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 23:35:08)

jekly

irresponsable is who play fights that cant win (mainly in power hour) the ban time need be removed and the problem need other solution

Mother1 -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/1/2014 23:49:19)

@ Df099

and how do you know this? No fight is 100% scripted. I have been in fights like you mentioned and factors that come into play have changed the tide and made it go in my favor.

1 Build advantage does make up for level disadvantage
2 Who starts the fights can turn the tide in the favor
3 Luck factors outside of RNG can changes the tide
4 The gear and cores you have can work in your favor.

Just because you are level disadvantaged doesn't mean you will lose.

Mysterion. -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/2/2014 4:23:03)

^ Players with only a primary that has no stat enchancements so basically only has there lvl stats, are guaranteed to make their partners lose.
Even luck can't save that team.

toopygoo -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/2/2014 11:56:49)

i dont want to punish players.. i want to reward those who persevere and keep the game more interesting

dfo99 -> RE: Potential solution for quitting partners? [2v2] (1/2/2014 12:00:01)

mother1

i leave in begin only while the partner not have stats enchancers and have only the primary weapon, otherwise i wait my partners die and quit
