Supreme Havox -> Energy skill update (1/7/2014 13:17:51)

1.Bounty Hunters. Static Grenade was recently nerved. Yes it was over powered but now it is under powered. I suggest raising it to 40%. Or make support enhance the percentage of energy received. I'm not saying they are under powered.

2. Tech Mages. I think mages are very over powered. Many agree with this as well tech mages have the ability to do 5 energy stealing/regaining skills, Assimalation, Battery, Generator, Piston punch or frost shard, and energy shot. If you put that all in one build it's almost a free win. I suggest a support requirement on Battery Backup. Without this heal loop is back and very frustrating.

3. Mercenaries. Should receive a new ability. As Energy smash does no damage and block able the mana consumed is not sufficient. If this move was unblock able than perhaps Merc's would be a bit more powerful.

1 Bounty hunter yeah I agree they were over nerfed. Moving the grenade to support or leaving it on tech with 30% energy regain would have been good, but doing both was an over nerfed. So I can agree with that one

2 A support requirement will affect all but focus 5 TM. If anything making battery backup give energy in 1/3 (like parasite energy) and adding a support requirement would be best. Stops heal looping brings TM back to earth.

3 you also forget Static smash is the best energy drain/gainer in the game. If it was made unblockable then the energy it returns would need to be nerfed to compensate for this.

Battery Backup nerf would also affect TLMs - I don't think they need a nerf, at all, but the opposite.

I definitely agree about Tech Mages being overpowered, at least the Dex Mages anyways. Before you say that the ones who complain about a certain class/build are having trouble facing it, let me say this: I use a Dex Mage build. I have no problem facing most classes and builds including Dex Mages, except for this new build popping up for Tech Mages with obscure amounts of Health and Strength (Which I have only seen people ~4 Levels higher than me use).
Since quite a few (I'd say most, but I have faced some others who do not abuse Dex) TMs use this build, and win pretty easily, I believe that Overload and Plasma Rain should be nerfed.

I do not know about Heal Looping, seeing as I have never seen one in battle (As I am at Level 27, at the time of posting; Perhaps it is more common at the later levels?).

Reasons why it would be better for having static grenade back on teh would be that it promotes build variety, promote better synergy for BHs lessening str builds, and would make static grenade's effect nerfable again, were as now it is only nerfable with an omega override or curse effect.
