What do you think was the most common phrase in ED last year?

A. Lucky Noob

B. I hate Omega

C. I'm retiring

D. (Insert a different phrase here!)

Cast your votes below! I'd like to know which you guys would think is the most common used phrase in 2013 and why!

I would have to go with A. Lucky Noob, this has been something I've been called all through omega. In the previous phases, I would be called it on occasion but not nearly as much now. I think it is because players have no where else to vent stress, and negative things tend to pile up quickly on people. The fact is that luck makes matches unpredictable, and angers players when odds clearly in their favor go against them. In previous phases, you could predict outcomes most of the time just by looking at stats. Now with luck implementations, you can not. The lack of fresh content is another issue to do with stress. Duels are almost all players have now, and no other content to enjoy in the game. Or, the current content isn't as enjoyable to them.

I've been called a noob when I win (Doesn't that make the insulter an even bigger noob than I am? xD), a noob when I lose, and a noob when I correct someone misusing noob.

Also, there is no way "luck" can be implemented, in any game. This game, and many others, uses RNG (Random Number Generator) to determine outcomes, like stuns and crits. When you get the bad end of RNG, don't say "I hate this luck", since it's the RNG that hates you, not Lady Luck (Although she may too... xD).

To the people who say "luck" (i.e. RNG) should be removed from the game, have fun playing a game with NO DAMAGE, NO RANDOM BATTLES, and no more anything that can have more than one result/outcome.

I may have been a bit of a jerk in this post, but I am not trying to be. Just warning 'ya.

Luck in this game is when the probability of the random number generator is in one player's favor. (Or appear to be so) But there isn't really a RNG, I'm pretty sure all the percentages are still set.

This is a common mistake.
Luck is NOT when I have like 40 support more than you, and I get a crit.
Luck is when I have like 40 support more than you, and YOU get a crit and I don't.

Ima have to go for all three lol. To be honest I've used all those phrases... I guess when we lose we turn on the update! Lucky noob always is always used when you won a battle clearly... Also a common phrase "YOU HACKER!!!!" lol always happen to me when I block...

In the future, please keep in mind that, in general, a thread in a general discussion must have actual discussion.

Unfortunately, even though the OP added his own thoughts to his topic and offered something to discuss, a good many of you didn't follow suit and just listed or spammed. Because of this, this thread will be closed.
