Correct, and even if players did have 99999 ranks, there is currently nothing to stop two players of completely different rank numbers, even legends vs non-legends from facing each other on what should have been a fair battle that is only decided by what the player does (not who the player faces).

I still wonder why it needed to be stat points? I can think of countless ways to benefit the players without upsetting PVP balance. They can have access to certain skill cores, new skills, or even forget PVP entirely.

Have my doubts with the new legendary stats thing, this might turn out terribly wrong.

Jekyll, Titan has already said the match-making system for Legendary players will be altered, so such matches will have low to no chance to occur. I've posted it on previous page.

Seems like these bonus stats could be the solution for the jugg problem.
Maxed lvl players might be able to get normal rates again.

Or will they alter that too?

Trans I find that hard to believe since facing +5s in 1v1 was supposed to be extremely rare same with 6 level differences in 2v2.

Yet they appear more often then they do not . For those playing do not be surprised to be facing high - capped legend rank 40s at 35 a lot !

I'm only saying what was mentioned in the tweet. I don't know how the Legendary ranks translate to levels, but perhaps 5 ranks = 1 level, so if you were to be rank 20, then the lowest you could face would be Level 39's. And besides, who knows, perhaps they will make the ranges smaller, even at cost of longer search times.

Legendary Modes are really have noticeable difference but are not game breaking like NightWrath said .... unless one reaches rank 60.

I think total no of Legendary Icons are: 6

No of slots each icons have: 10

No. of stats offered in each rank: 1

Maximum Rank = (1*10)*6 = 60 ?

Not to mention the high level players always blow huge amounts on varium. I don't think that's why they made it though. I think they made it so they don't have to make any new levels anymore. I'll be okay with these stats if only legendary players in a level range can go against each other. But say a level 100 legend on a level 1 legend. That'd be unbalanced.

Good release. Grabbed the moose helm - fought for five minutes - got thrashed by Matt 1000 twice - owned a level 40 poison-mass CH as a level 35 BH (are the people complaining that build is OP on crack?) - logged out. Trick to playing EpicDuel and still have fun is to play for extremely short durations :)

I actually like the latest update for legends. It keeps it interesting for players that have maxed out their levels. Level 40 is as high as it goes, so are level 40's just supposed to be playing for the love of the game. I think that this takes a lot of the luck factor out of the game. I honestly don't think a level 35 has no business beating a lvl 40 unless everything goes right for them. Maybe they could scale it so every third legend level reached means that you fight one level higher than 35. This meaning that a level 3 legend fights 36 and higher. level 6 legend fights 37 and above, etc. The stat increases if you look at them aren't that great. MESSAGE TO ALL YOU BOUNTY HUNTERS: Once you reach level 40, tech mages are easier to kill. HANG IN THERE.

If they don't do something about level ranges then I agree with those who are against this idea.

Honestly if thier was enough players I would be pushing that they make lvl 40s in 1v1 be only able to verse another 40 perhaps this is a good idea when their is more players and lvl 40s.

Players wait too long = players quit because they can't get matches as well. If we had the player base to do this then fine I would agree but when you get as little as 235 players online at a certain time of the day cutting ranges will destroy the game for those players. If you read the tweet Trans linked you would see the staff knows this, and they aren't going to lower level ranges which would result in longer wait times which in turn will also make players quit.

I'm sorry but you damage control far too much in this regards, fighting unwinnable battle after unwinnable battle is far worse than waiting an extra 5 - 10 seconds for a fight. I have recorded 2 double exp sessions and if you really hold so strong on your opinion on this matter, I will upload them so you can see for yourself just OFTEN I fight 4 and 5 level higher players. In both videos every 4/5 opponents was 3 - 5 levels higher than me almost wrecking my entire double exp period. This is whats keeping me from playing the game. I am not the only one, I've seen people level 29 and 30 complain about fighting me over and over. If the developers and yourself hold to this "Well we don't want to make people wait longer" argument then this game is running into a lose lose situation.

Edit: 2v2 is the same deal, every time I click on 2v2, I'm nearly always in a fight full of 36-39 which thankfully I fair better in cause of my ability to survive long and support my partner but I should not have to fight unbalanced 2v2 fights to get exp.

There should really be a poll on this matter to see what the majority of the community would rather have.

The new legendary stat system is nice.
Hope Staff fixes the level range issue



Hope Revontheus's Shop will have some cool looking Auxiliaries



and Finally Tutorial system which this game needed long time ago ..... its better late than never


In all it is a nice update .... would like to see some balance update too.

I hold to my opinion because I also know that increased wait time will also cause players to quit. You say the wait will increase only 5-10 seconds, but I ask you have you ever had to wait a 1-2 minutes for a fight? Cause I have many times and a lot of these times was during when there are few players.

What about those player who can only play during reset due to their times zones when there are few people on? this suggestion affects EVERYONE not just those who are playing during peak times. while this maybe a small inconvenience for those players, it can stagger those who play when the player pool is at it's lowest.

I have played during all these times and with the way the player pool is now, it will hurt those who play during these times the most.

I have heard player complain about how the staff doesn't think about players in different time zones, and this idea of cutting the range would hurt them the most since they barely have a player pool to begin (since 200-300 players is extremely low)

I would have to agree with Mother1 on this one. There just simply isn't enough players. And the players that we do have aren't evenly distributed.

I just don't see how reducing it to 3 levels higher would increase the wait time that dramatically, oh well.
