Fought a dude yesterday destroyed me 5 times in a row with rainbowtheus using no CC vs my taro I'd say it was the best since it has penance.

If you have two penances in your CC in addition to some holy strikes, then Rainbowtheus. Love Machine has the same amount of heals, two mights, and two less sacrifices but one more holy strike. However, mights reduce your combo-ing ability and don't justify it with the efficiency either; 2 for 300. Sacrifice directly takes from your hp, but it's free=combo+the high cost of holy strikes; 3 is already 15. Even the weakest heal light has offsets sacrifice though, making it 3 for 500 damage, more than a normal attack card. How much more, with penance, a 3 for 600?

Love Machine's main strategy involve high damage combo attack with 3 500 attack card, 3 Holy Strike plus 2 Might. Using 3 hit combo will deal maximum high damage of 2850(1050+1050+750) of 19 energy cost. Nevertheless, Love Machine and Rainbowtheus both have their pro and con so I won't make any conclusion of Love Machine or Rainbowtheus being better than the opposite. It depend on how players used Love Machine and Rainbowtheus well which will give them the answer of which character is suitable for them to use in terms of their own strategy plays.

He most certainly did. It's actually quite easy to use cc and claim you aren't.
Just so long as you stick to cards that your character should have, and make
sure the cards you use don't give extra in dmg/def/hp and so on.

Just for the sake of it I'll make a list of all cards that you can cc while claiming you
aren't and won't be caught as long as the character you use it with also has that card.

Earth Series: Earthquake, Tree of Life, Nature's Gift.
Energy Series: Charged, Chain Lightning, Electric Arc, Super Charged, Tazer.
Fire Series: Fire Whirl, Meteorite.
Ice Series: Ice Orb, Ice Needle, Snow Orb.
Light Series: Penance.
Neutral Series: Corruption.
Shadow Series: Blood Rage, Empower.
Water Series: Water Crash, Healing Spring.

Note that none of these cards are normal dmg/shield cards.

Most definitely monk. While monk can be difficult to encounter,
Moost has given many players an extremely hard time to even
see just once.

MDFR and FDFR, they are also hard to encounter but both combine are still even quite easier to encounter than Moose. Their possession rate is high since most of us managed to possess without SG on first try.

Monk have a higher encounter rate than Moose. You won't only encounter Monk but also Dire Monk, plus their possession rate is quite high since I remembered possessing Monk without SG on first try.

Moose is really extremely too difficult to encounter, I only encountered Moose once after about 16 or 17 days and managed to possess it without SG. Moose seems to have medium possession rate since some didn't succeed in possessing Moose twice or even 6 times. Some players/forumites and I are must be lucky to manage encounter and possess Moose first try.

I wish you luck in encountering and possessing them without SG.

I don't see why not. My suggestion along with at least 2 others were Water/Neutral characters. Not to mention Nulgath says "Water-based" characters.

Eh. Alright, but just to be safe. . . .. . .I'm going to suggest multiple characters. . . .. some fully water, others not.

And I just met Ogre Maiden at the boulders place. . . .first encounter. . . .. never knew she could be found there.

It can also be found in green forests and there's been the odd report of it at the giant boulder but those locations have more characters so the odds are less, you can try refresh farming if the Ice monsters are too annoying.
