If you guys have Monk, he would be your hope against DFR but do know when to use the correct card.

Maybe but you need enough shield to protect yourself since Resonance have Electric Arc which deal slow damages but at least you have 3 storm, it should work out well. Luck can change the outcome so do hope for the best.

I doubt so since Nulgath never mentioned it in the current DN. So it pretty much confirm DFR won't be permanent rare. You guys have anytime to encounter, beat and possess DFR.

He won't be harder to encounter than Weteye, Poison Drake, DFR and Time Gentleman. Once you got him, try him out just at level 1 and hope you can get Neutralize before the battle then you can be able to use it and end the battle in 1 turn. It need extreme luck but anything is possible. ;)

Hi guys! Sorry if this is boring(or anoying to answer) but some time ago i asked what characters(non SG or upholder/founder) are best in offense/defense/resistanse. Now, i got the list but it's pretty old, and can anyone tell me if better characters have appeared? The list is:
Neutral: Thrak
Fire: Mana Guardian
Ice: Kruger
Energy: Volt Engineer (i have void hex, is that on par with volt engineer? or if there is better than volt engineer, is hex on par wit it or even better? because i got hex)
Earth: Earth Elemental
Water: Water Elemental
Light: Gold Lycan
Shadow: Necrosis Dezgardo (i got stress tester void knight and planing to evolve to void champion)

2- Most defensive
Neutral: Monk
Fire: Infernal Fiend
Ice: Cosoma
Energy: Lightning Wolf
Earth: Earth Golem
Water: Water elemental Water Wing
Light: Archpriest of Ver
Shadow: Poison Drake

3- The best that are ofensive/defensive
Neutral: Monk
Fire: Mana Guardian
Ice: Cosoma
Energy: Volt Engineer
Earth: Earth Elemental
Water: Water Elemental
Light: Gold Lycan
Shadow: Poison Drake

There are a few things that can be changed:

Most offensive water character: Aqueous
Most offensive light character: Templar
Most offensive shadow character: Nulgath's Shadow

Most defensive fire character: Void Rebirth
Most defensive ice character: Cosoma Titan
Most defensive energy character: Resonance
Most defensive light character: Queen Aegea

It's a matter of opinion, but I think Gold Lycan can be replaced by Founder Champion or any of the other light legendaries.

I agree with the changes Jop made above, and I personally think the best offensive/defensive water should be Revontheus. Sacrifices, Neutralize, and Iron hide, along with Water cards, give him huge potential when using proper CC.

Well, you said Non SG or Upholder/Founder, I thought you meant it could be Upholder/Founder. Then just Aqueous and Resonance. Revontheus could have been gotten in November of 2012 and evolved for free a few months ago.

Void Champion is more offensive because it has shadow fire. DFR isn't the most offensive or defensive, and time gentleman is only good for doing unblockable damage, he is not the most offensive or defensive either.

@the jop i see, so i guess out of the non-SG characters + void champ, void champ exceeds all(again all non SG's) in offense, right? And which would be faster to farm for? time gentle or DFR? I've got 1 SG which i can use on character capture so i guess time gentle because it's posses rate is REALLY low?

That's right. Time Gentleman has a higher spawn rate than DFR but a much lower possession rate, so you could use a Soul Gem to guarantee possession. Not really worth it though unless you want every character, since he's not the best energy character.

Are you sure he's not worth it? Also, wbu the void champ question i asked along with DRF/gentleman question? Oh and about the list, except what you said, is there any character that you might have missed when you said those SG/upholder characters?

I guess Necrosis Dezgardo is better in DoT damage since he has 5 DoTs, but Void Champion is better in instant damage since he has more normal attacks and a shadow fire. So who ends up winning depends how long the battle is. I don't personally think Time Gentleman is worth it if you already have Hex Void or Volt Engineer since you spend most of the time energizing and not attacking as much as other energy characters, but it's your decision.

Which fire should I use for my main fire char? Overfiend Blade, Mana Guardian, or Infernal Fiend. I have all of those three, I just don't know which one I should use.

Volt Engineer for instant damage, Time Gentleman for unblockable damage, and Resonance for DoT damage.

Well, Nulgath said the Shadow of Nulgath deal would go online "next week" and it came around Wednesday. Probably a special case though, seeing that it's a promo event, for moneh.

Everyone who bought the 10k thing before the Shadow, for bitterfrost, also got it. Like how I get the greenguard armory thing as well. So it should have been sound, even if the shadow were to be released after the deal ended. And it didn't work at launch either; rhubarb had to go set it up after the initial wave. The OS releases seem sporadic in nature; I remember cases where there were no releases over four weeks, but with a message at the end of the second week, normal bi-weekly release time, and cases where releases came back to back, such as CNY and that other thing before it. So yeah, pretty much whenever, but he'll let you know in advance.
