NP and I am one of the top player who is so excited for the release! :D I am hoping that mystery character behind is the Dragonfiend Rider I had been excitingly waiting for! :D

What if it's not the Dragonfiend Rider? You guys seem very fixated on the idea and I don't think it IS the rider. Just don't want anyone disappointed when it's not this specific character coming out xP

Why I'm one of the fews that are not excited for the Dragonfiend Rider? Still, I would like to have other character, Nulgath still has so much cooler characters he hasn't released yet.

Who knows. Maybe Nulgath'll blow us away with a new fiend or something; the rebirth void was a pretty good demonstration of his new artistic abilities with that new tablet. I'd prefer it if he didn't put one of those tacky fiend pins on it, though. It should be a tattoo. Or a brand. ._.

Anything is fine with me since a lot of characters that Nulgath made were pretty amazing up to this point my favorite in which is of course are Necrosis, Abomination, Headless Horseman, Void Reaper, Black Dragon, Lich, Minotaur, Orc Chieftan, and Founder Champion.

So, Failing that, how about Miltonius with/or the Oblivion Blade if he wants to release that? It's no longer his main character, and would make for a awesome birthday present.

Similairity to Dragonfiend

They do not match 100%, but the posture of the hand in that shadow has an immense resemblences to that of Dragonfiend, but almost everything else doesn't match at all
in terms of posture. Could easily be something else too. There are things that match with the description, and things that don't, we'll see in 2 days ^^

I am super pumped to celebrate Nulgath's birthday!

@megakyle Yes, character bios would be great. I remember the really early characters like Katana Zon and Shadowdance actually had bios made by Nulgath, and I thought that was pretty cool. Of course, Undead Squire's bio would be something like" *bone creak* *creak* *creak*" So Some don't need bios really.

It would certainly add to the game especially for the contest entries based on back-stories; I'm sure a lot of the newer players aren't even aware of their origins.

It's hard to explain why i think it would add more to this game then it would in say DF. The main factor of this game is the fact that the characters are capturable. So presumably you would want to know the story behind them. If you were to find a wolf and read the bio that said "The Lightning Wolf is one of many species that roams the forests of our world. A noble creature, it is always looking for people to fight-or to eat." even something that simple would make finding a hard to find char like poison drake and reading about it a just that bit more... engaging. I wish I could put this and the argument for it's importance forwards to Nulgath, since I doubt it will occur.

I think Character Descriptions are very possible; just look at every BattleOn Game; there's always descriptions of the equippable items. Hopefully Oversoul will follow a similar route and have it as Soul Analysis or something like that :)
