EpicDuel has been heavily relying on energy. Therefore, as energy based skills receive a boost, ( Static Grenade, Battery Backup, Static Smash....) they become Oped. They have no Energy cost, therefore usable at almost any situation. For Static Grenade and Static Smash, they cost 0 energy, but are capable of taking away the opponent's energy! Especially for CHs and BMs, whose energy regenerating abilities are almost useless, they usually lose all their energy no more after Round 3. No skills can be used then, not even mentioning Cores. First off, I'd like to propose taking away the energy cost for Skill Cores. Balance changes that affects energy usage is necessary, however, currently with no idea complete enough.

This would only unbalance certain cores while making unbalanced ones even more unbalanced.

Azreal's will
Azreal's torment
Chairman's fury
Hatching rush

These are just some of the cores that will become unbalanced or even more unbalanced if we remove their energy costs.

While energy has become overly stressed causing other unbalance to try and fix this problem won't solve it.

How will they be unbalanced?

Removing the cost may just be a way tho. Lowering the cost may do. And yes, energy has been extremely over stressed.

We need more skills that cost 0 energy. However cores can be OP if they don't cost energy.

Do you mean Static Grenade instead of Static Charge? Tech Mages have Assimilate too.

Azrael's will will not become OP even if they remove the energy cost.

Azrael's will was effective when fights were taking only about 3-5 turns. Now, even if you remove the energy cost, it would still be rather useless, otherwise people would have allocated 200 more energy for it.

No. I think the most Over Powered core in this game is the Hatchling Rush. With such a little energy cost, such a game changer. As for Azrael's Will, ABSOLUTE TRASH compare to this. 200 Energy for a core is utter nonsense.

Yep you're right. Thanks. Typo fixed.

And yes for another thing Azraels Will has an unreasonable cost.

For why I propose 0 energy cost is that Cores can be obtained by every class. However the ability to get energy is different and unequal for every class (TM being the best,……….).
