The tutorial should have weapon upgrading right before the exile or legion mission. It should at least be mentioned are talked about. Maybe give free upgrade of weapons to your lvl but for only new people

I feel like this is needed, and maybe the thing about cores too.

So they should maybe make like tutorial cores that have really wimpy effects, like a "heavy strike" active core which is "strike and deal 10 more damage" or something and another similar passive one.

supported, only IF it's to upgrade to level 2, not your current level. And in that case then the entire tutorial should give you just enough to level up from level 1 to 2 by the time you reach that mission.

Yh just to lvl 2 and core sounds good. I just suggested it because you really don't get introduced into other parts of game in tutorial
