So today I read the DN's and this specific part caught my attention.

And the answer to that is really really simple...
If you guys just rewrite the engine to bring delta into omega.
Everything about the Delta phase in my opinion was perfect.

I was able to do 1v1 /2v2 / and juggernaut with no complications and so could everyone else.
Every class could be used and any build could be used as well. There were multiple factions going to dailies everyday.
The varium packages were worth buying because each item that you could buy had their own specific stat modification to it.
There were thousands of people on and usually filled up the first 2 servers no problem and even could have doom unlocked.
The community was just great and there was no trash talk left and right.
Battle Tokens to buy achievements and to capture flags was a great way to keep factions active.
Everything about Delta was awesome.

The flaws of omega at the moment...

There is usually around 600-700 people at most on just one server and the 2nd server rarely gets opened.
We had to hide the losses from other people because people who getting horrible records.
Juggernaut at level 36+ is nearly impossible.
Low levels are now the most over powered characters in the game for faction and daily purposes.
Every single item is the same now just with a different look and the only purpose for a promo is just for a core which usually costs too much energy.
Only 2 factions for 1v1 and 1 faction for 2v2 and 1 faction for juggernaut is active anymore.
Most people quit the game once omega was released.
The only good way to earn credits and XP now is to farm of NPC's.
Only one class and one build is usually used because every single class is under powered but one usually.
Level 40 was introduced and it can rank up past level 40, this is bad because of the fact if a level 40 with a high rank fights anyone lower than 40 they are basically dead. This is why you should raise the cap by one level if you do, so the good cap to use is level 37 if anything.
Taking battle tokens out of the game and changing achievements to credits.
Giving any faction no matter how many people are in it to gain flag captures when not even holding a flag.
Epic duel in general just lost it's game. The game itself just isn't the same anymore. It's a sad feeling but it's true.

All I'm saying is, if you bring back the delta phase for omega it will be beneficial for both the players and you.
More people will return.
More varium will be bought.
More profit and funds are given to you.

Take this thread into consideration and I hope that you could make so many peoples wishes come through will this one thing.

You made some good points, however they moved away from the p2w win model. The battle tokens change was stupid. Achievements are a lvl 40 thingonlyt now

So you want Delta back, don't you? Well, let me tell you this, when software products are being developed, they go through these phases (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta). After Delta, it's the final phase, you can then release the software, unless you've already released it. If EpicDuel went back into Delta, then what's the point of spending hours of work and going back into development?

The Developers will have to spend a lot of time coding and making the engine back into the way it was for Delta, but some of you guys wanted Beta, heck some people wanted Gamma. I liked Delta because I bought Varium in that phase, but I still think that there are other good things in other phases.

People have games on their phones, some phones can handle high-end games with ease, so games on mobiles are popular. Other people have games on their Xbox or PS, so they spend more time on them because there are better games, with better graphics and features, than in the past. These games have developed faster than EpicDuel because they have a larger budget and team. You can say Omega made some people leave, but they might have had their eyes on some other game.

If you don't like Omega, then why are you still here? Do you somewhat still like EpicDuel?

I don't think that next phase will be the final. I think one of the devs already stated that, im not sure. *Goes to find it*

It won't. Omega is just a name, it's not the end of EpicDuel.

Delta was HORRIBLE!
Omega isn't great but it at least beats delta by a huge amount,

every other phase easily beats delta.

If omega beats Delta, then why aren't the player numbers proving this? While omega did bring some good things, the numbers reflex otherwise.

^ I should say omega's concpet, not the current state.

The poor balance I feel are issues that could of been avoided in omega making it a better phase in my opinion.


Perhaps I should say early omega, because a lot of the recent changes are really horrid such as the legendary rating system.

What that is doing is bringing up problems from delta such as enhancements which they should of never done.

Now that I can agree with because balance wise every phase was better than the one after it meaning omega < Delta < Gamma < Beta Etc.

Cause even though Delta had bad balance at least 1 vs 1 was playable and you could use some semi complex builds that took some thought and could compete with the FOTW builds if used right.

My opinion of omega before is considering it when it was of it's peak good balance.


I agree however the current state is very wrong.

Actually, the balance has always been terrible, just it cycles in different ways.
For example, usable weapon types.
For a while, mages used pretty much only swords because staves were unusable. Now, staves are a necessity because of assimilate. Sometimes massacre is OP and claws are great, but hunters usually can do good with either a sword OR claws, one of the most well designed classes. Stuff like this always happens and keeps switching around, but not getting much better.

^ The problem is it's getting worse.

A shame because I like the less varium gap advanatge and the lack of enhancements that omega offers.

But then that comes with, broken cores, broken free costing skills, and even worse balance.

The Varium gap still exists. Its much bigger before lvl 30 though.
