Okay so legendary ranks allow you to increase basic damage, defense, and resistance.

Now picture this. In the future, more players will become level 40s. Needless to say, they increase their legendary points. Eventually, primary, sidearm, auxiliary, and robot damage will all have insane damage.

By this time, players might stop using damage skills because their strike with no strength might actually be equal to, if not stronger than an overload with all stats into dex! Another reason is since other players will also be adding to defense/resistance points, these offensive skills will do significantly low damage. However, you can upgrade your primary damage to neutralize the effects of the player's increased defense.



Another thing to think about is about newer players who join in the future. Let's say they finally reach level level 36. Now they get to fight rank 100 legends! Basically that's like fighting someone 104 levels higher than you...



These are just a few ideas you all should think about.

Actually, in its current state, one rank translates to roughly 1/4 of a level up - so 4 ranks = 1 level, minus the skill point. So, 100 ranks will only be 25 levels difference! :D

There's a reason why I've suggested a change to the Legendary Mode, to fix how broken it is - at least for now. Being able to choose your own category and max it in just 10 Ranks, makes it easy to abuse. Primary damage bonus is always active (Strike) and it stacks with Melee skills even more. Next up will be Gun damage, to go with Strength abuse, obviously. So yeah, the overall design is pretty much borked.

I find it annoying how strength abusers only have to get to Rank 30, or 40 at the most, if you really want that extra gun damage.
