I can't beat Thok because of those annoying cards that I have to use and don't have the right cards to beat him, so I keep loosing against him and don't have enough money to buy new ones!

Maybe you need help with the game. Try charging to 14 or 19 so you can regenerate 4 or 5 energy per turn. Talk to the angel and archer ladies in the lobby to get tutorials.

I think it's cool how this quest forces players to try new games and think outside their usual comfort zone. Unfortunately sometimes it's a little too far out which I think is what Windstar is experiencing. Don't worry, I felt similarly about EpicDuel.

You can go look for and defeat Treasure Chests in dungeons which give a lot more gold than the average goon, but they are not exactly easy to beat...

That, the Undead Dungeon(castle at world map) and Mino's lab.

These maps should also tell you where the Chests spawn.

Lab has the closest chest location if your hunting for it in layout two of it.


Has anyone tried a discard style of playing with omni running him at 4 energy charge to get the heads up in battle with cards with like empower and penance which help him get large things for small amounts?

Ok I got through into the game, and I must admit... I like the gameplay. Quite refreshing to say the least. I've started out with the BLAIRWITCHPROJECT BLARE. Now where do I get to for the artifact?

Just spam the Monster button until you find Thok. After beating him, you need to possess him... which requires the RNG's favor. Unless you have a Soul Gem that is.

Hmmm.... this might take a while. Also, how exactly do you upgrade your cards and stuff? I mean Blare can NUKE it.. but any upgrades?

Also, any heads up about Thok? What's he like??

You'd have to rank her up to get better cards or wait till fire CC comes along.

You can evolve her to a veteran as a level 4 apprentice from the character tree, and to a master as a level 10 veteran. She gets better cards as she evolves, but she will go back to level 1 when you evolve her.

Also, Thok looks just like the NPC that sells Fighter enhancements in AQW, only a little more detailed and is wielding the Cursed Phoenix Blade instead of the regular one if that's what you mean.

If you mean battle-wise... he's mostly offensive and uses a card that deals 1500 damage, instant KO for level 1 characters. Even without that, he still packs a lot of punch.

Hmm, the only difference I've noticed in upgrading her is the fact that she gets one new card, BURN. Would it be better to face Thok with Blare or Void of Nulgath?

And there has to be another way to find him right? Ive been at it from an hour and still no sign of him!

1. That's a step closer to getting to Master Rank, which is obviously better. Oh, and you're probably better off facing him with Void Incarnate or Vamp Lord, Shadow Squire's evo, if you want him to go down quickly on low levels.

Can I exchange cards from my deck with the custom cards, or can I only add them?
