i think beating higher rank level 40's must reward higher credits due to the level difference. it's not easy to beat a rank 16 level 40 for a level 38 like me. :-).

That makes sense. Maybe 1 credit + 1/3 exp point for every legendary rank advantage?

why not just make it as 1 lvl advantage per 10 ranks , so a lvl 39 facing rank 10 will be effectively fighting someone 2 lvls higher than him.

I doubt this will be possible. Essentially scaled Exp/Credit rewards - something Titan has attempted in the past and it didn't work, or to be specific, something that couldn't be done at the time due to engine limitations.

If we go by that example, this can't really be done. If things have changed, scaled Exp/Credit rewards could be done - level scaling that is, so the level curve ends up being smoother but still requiring more fights to level up than the previous level.
