Well, I'll let others handle the scaling. I'm no L40 CH nor anywhere close, since mine is only L30, so I don't know what an appropriate amount would be.

whatever your suggestion works good no matter what the scale is. infact to reduce the scale keeping more or less the same ammount energy return, u would just need to incrase the defence ignore and reduce the % of energy gained.
