between lvl 35 and lvl 40 all equipment got its dmg/defences incrases apart from bots.
the strike of a regular strenght build (whit ranks on primary) has more or less the same dmg of a normal bot attack, i find this quite unfair and that s why i would like to see 6 focus added.

out of topic:
i would aswell nerf the initial dmg of hawk and abyss bot s special, from 90% to 65 % dmg.
right now, if u add the inital dmg of 90% to the debuff, these bots can give an advange of +500 hp in 1 moove whitout costing energy.

About Focus 6 - absolutely not. Not until stat progression is fixed, because Bots would get even bigger advantage than they do now - over other weapons. I could easily sacrifice some of my Tech in favour of making other stats 50, with minimal loss, really. Overall, I can support it but not for the time being.

In regards to the Bots, I think it should be done like the Yetis - basic + 1st evolution has 65% damage, and the final has 80%. I think this would be enough, 80% damage. At the same time, it's their effect which is a problem, not the damage - or at least Black Abyss one. Does this make extreme stat abuse harder? maybe

Would a 6 focus build be a match for the mighty strength hp build therefore ending there reign at the top of the food chain? Probably not

Even if it did stop one form of abuse your just switching it out for another.

So that said I'ma have to say no to this.

i get ur point on the stat progression even if i dont agree whit it.

but i dont uderstand ur point on abyss and hawk bot, 1st because the real problem between these 2 is armor anhilator and not necrosis, and 2nd because they arn t a problem if not whit focus, becuase it is whit focus that the debuff gets stuked whit the initial dmg.

making an example.
u use armor anihilator on a regular strenght build (all armor on tech) dealing 200 dmg, and getting an advange of 300-360 dmg on the next 3 hits, for a total of +500 dmg;

whitout sayng that these bots can t truly be cauntered by shields, infact the only thing u need to do is to add another buff/debuff on them like smoke or malf and all protections are
nullified.

^ My point is introducing 6 focus would be completely pointless as things stand. A 6 focus build would be no match for the builds that are reigning supreme at the moment , meaning no one would use it.

Until balance is fixed introducing things like this is pointless.

well if 6 focus would not be a challange for strenght builds, why not introduce it?

matching base stats at 50, will force you to have maximum 1150-1200 hp, and due to the way stat progression and rage are setted that would be a significant limitation.

if the game is unplayable to you that doesn t mean that is imposssible to intruduce something new, (if it s well tested);
some of us are having fun, and still think that is worth spending our time on this game (unfurtunatly theese peaple are in game and not in forums).

I don't see how 6 Focus would make bots OP and since bots can only be used once every 4 turns, compared to weapon damage progressions, it seems logical that they get another focus level.

Actually with the massive dex builds I can actually hold my own, and with the way the system is, If I get blocked on certain moves I turn it to my advantage and I actually use a focus build to do this. The main reason people use dex build at the high levels now is to counter those strength builds since blocking is what makes these strength builds lose due to not connecting.

Just so everybody has an equivalent to compare this to: This is the same as increasing stat leans on weapons to allow for more of the same stat. Focus is just another stat, and this just allows you to stack it even higher, the same way changing stat allotments on weapons would.

Should be left alone until stat progressions are fully revamped.

If Str and Dex are the stronger stats, y not have the bot power split (evenly?) between tech and support - and get rid of focus (an obvious band-aid stat).
