I would be willing to bet at least 20 dollars that many people have experienced this first hand, or had a partner who did....
Scenario:
1. 2v2 Match begins.
2. Your partner got first turn (YESS.)
3. Your partner misses his turn (NOOO!!!!).
So why is that?
Various some-what legitimate excuses:
- He/She has a slop computer and was graphically lagging before time ran out and he could do anything about it.
- He/She has a slop internet connection and time ran out before he could do anything about it.
- He/She was trying to look at the opponents build/stats/skills in an attempt to decide the best 1st target, but time ran out before he could do anything about it.
- He doesn't like you and wants to watch you lose.
What do most people do when they see their partner skip first turn?
- Whine/Complain/Express abbreviated profanities.
- Leave
END RESULT: GAME IS RUINED.
So what does this mean? Well it means 3 out of the 4 some-what legitimate excuses could be avoided, easily and simply avoided.
Extend the timer for the 1st turn player and equally extend it for the first term player on the opposite side.
