Fair enough. I'll do that then.

Think of this as just a preview.

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (4/27/2014 0:08:59)

Just a question, does anybody here have experience in editing, cleaning and coloring mangas?

If so, please do contact me.

Flamehead 12 -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (4/27/2014 0:37:49)

when creating sequential art. especially when starting out. try to keep the panels to a grid format, you don't want to variant to far away from the grid format. That makes it much easier for the viewer to follow.
while using freeform panels (not set to a grid format) is very appealing and dynamic to the artist, it might become too busy and hard to follow for the reader. keep this in mind

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (4/27/2014 1:57:38)

@Flamehead, I agree I made it a bit too chaotic from the start.

The reason for that is manga rely more on freeform panelling as compared to a grid system followed by comics. So, I try to make it a characteristic style.

Thank you for your advice. I'll try not to deviate too much.^^

The Einherjar

Warmonger DragonJax -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/5/2014 1:35:55)

The blade is sick.So cool but giving the handle a grip instead of a shiny handle would be better but artistic license(or is it poetic licence)

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/5/2014 1:49:21)

Hehe.^^

Thanks Jax, but the reason I kept the handle shiny was so I could maintain a certain uniformity. It's completely made out of the same metal and since it's a big sword, a slick handle makes it esier to swing in battle.

Glad you like it.

This Blade will accompany The Einherjar as the 2nd of my Legendary Trisagion Set.

Please let me know what you think about my work. ^_^

Galanoth: Warpath

[image]http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g413/yamangupta101/rsz_1rsz_galanothwarpath.jpg[/image]

Warmonger DragonJax -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/18/2014 23:01:36)

The Galanoth looks more like a rogue than a warrior if that's what you were trying to achieve then good job.The thigh guard looks a little odd and the energy coming out of his eyes should go towards the back of the helm(like sepulchure).
spoiler:

I saw a picture where Galanoth is Bald so that hair is not possible.

Last but not the least this looks more like a tiger rouge that a Dragonslayer but no less impressive.

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/18/2014 23:26:56)

Yes, I see you've noticed the lack of heavy armor on his torso.

I actually got a bit confused when doing the thigh guard. I guess I hadn't done my homework properly.

I think this looks like a tiger rogue as you say, because of the stocky helm and the tiger-esque shoulder guard.

Thanks for commenting.

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/30/2014 5:31:35)

Well, I now have Flash so here it is:

Einherjar FLASHED

[image]http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g413/yamangupta101/rsz_1flashfilesword.jpg[/image]

Chaosweaver Amon -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/30/2014 11:05:09)

Ooh, that looks MUCH better flashed. It looks like a sort of a weapon made of raw darkness. Keep up the good work!

Warmonger DragonJax -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/30/2014 11:13:31)

I defer from Amon's view. The original is much more awesome compared to the new one

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/30/2014 11:55:02)

I want to go with both. Thanks guys.

Amon's right in saying that the Flashed version is better because it has a much stronger impact than the paper-based version.

Jax is right in saying his part because the Paper version is much more detailing than the Flash version giving it a more intricate look.

My expertise in Flash is limited but I am trying. Thanks for commenting guys..!!

Flash Experiment-

Highbringer

[image]http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g413/yamangupta101/rsz_1highbringer.jpg[/image]

Warmonger DragonJax -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 10:41:04)

Dude I am sorry to say this but this looks like you used paint. You draw it out on paper first then try flash as I can tell you are more comfortable with paper than flash.

Chaosweaver Amon -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 11:30:39)

I think it only looks like that because it is undershaded. It kind of lacks that...metallic feel.

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 11:46:59)

It's experimental Flash. I didn't make even one piece of it ON Flash. What you see is the hand-drawn piece Imported onto Flash, then converted into Bitmap format(Flash Format). I clicked a photo of it and put it onto my laptop.

Then I manually paint-bucketed it.

This is the final product... And yeah, it does look awful.

Tell you what, I'll reproduce this weapon completely ON Flash like the Einherjar and then show you what it looks like.

Thanks for commenting, guys.

Lord Noonien Soong -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 11:53:54)

Really like your arts, their certainly better than mine!

Also love the eye for detail you have, like in Gae Bolg and certain snips off HighBringer

Really love the HighBringer, it's got some art, also really shows how to Ride the Lightning

Keep it up!

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 12:19:11)

Thank you, Lord Noonien Soong.^^

So glad you like my work. And NEVER down-rate your own work.

Azan -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 18:46:54)

I think you've got quite a potential with Flash, Arthur. I like the flashed Einherjar, even if it's true the pencil-drawn one is more detailed. With some practice, you could get very good.

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 19:49:54)

Thank you Azan. I hope I can get better in most media so I can expand my range.

Thanks for commenting...!

Kian -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 20:22:30)

And just when I think writing is your strongest quality, I see this. Be-au-ti-ful!

Arthur -> RE: FableVerse and Other Creations (5/31/2014 22:26:19)

Hehe. Hey there Kian.^^

Thank you...!!
