Recommending People for Titles (Full Version)

Char -> Recommending People for Titles (4/5/2014 14:07:40)

I have been lurking around the forums for some time now and I have seen a lot of people that could (and probably should) be given titles. Is it against the rules for me to PM a Moderator and recommend them?

I think I remember this being somewhere in the rules but sorry if I am wrong and I'm being disrespectful (I tend to do that sometimes)

I haven't seen anything about it in the rules, but I don't think Moderators take recommendations into account. Just because the person you're recommending could easily be your best friend, or even you, with a secret second account.

If you see someone that you think deserves recognition, feel free to PM that section's head moderator. Many of us tend to be so busy that we can miss people, especially if their contributions are not as flashy. We will certainly give the person in question another look, although ultimately the decision whether or not to title them would still be ours. It matters less that the person you are recommending is your best friend, if they are truly deserving of a title.
