The berserker killer -> Armors for Ranks. (4/23/2014 15:22:53)

I see that you have an Warrior armor, a Warlord Armor, an Officer Armor, but you seem to stop there. What I propose is that you create armors like Emperor, Grand Emperor, and Legend but you can only buy them if you are that rank or above it.

Both ideas sound pretty neat, it'll actually give you more of a reason to want to rank up.

Exactly. At the moment all these ranks mean things to some people but not a damn thing to me though. If I'm not getting anything out of it I dont care about it really. Thats the only reason why people get reputation in AQW, because they get something out of it.

If there were going to be direct rewards for ranks, which isn't a bad idea, 2v2 and Juggernaut would have to have more influence over your rank than 1v1, simply to balance out effort and reward.

True. 2v2 and Jugg should really be scaled differently but I can not support that idea only for the fact that so many people have fought so hard to get to Legendary Rank. Maybe if more ranks were added then that could happen because half the major players who are grand emperors now would be Legends.

However, by that statement, those grand emperors worked just as hard, or harder to get their rank than many legends, and they have less to show for it.

That's somewhat true, especially given the fact that a 2v2 takes 3 times longer than a 1v1 in many cases. In one week I went up 1500 wins in 1v1s. In 2v2 I have only gone up about 150 in a week. What do you suggest? 2v2 counting as wins?

The most basic though would be to make 2v2 and Juggernaut worth double; you are killing 2 guys after all. Due to the variability of the situations though, I'd say somewhere between 1.6 and 2.4 - perhaps different numbers for the two - would be best.
