(edit) Though what you said does give me an idea, especially since I think Soul Wyvern could've used more armor.
Maybe for the next contest, I can suggest Wyvern's Legendary form. . . Heh. :P
For example, if it's a Neutral contest, Wyvern could be Water/Neutral. . . .xD
Or just wait for another Water contest.
I can think of it now, tougher skin, metallic armor that was imbued with magic. Along with armor covering the wings, back, and head, with some on the tail.
And some more markings that glow. (Kind of like Kyogre/Groudon. You can look at the covers of Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire for more.)
The armor would be sleek and smooth. And the Wyvern's body would be more sleek. And the wings would get some more detail as well.
The eye would be the source of the glowing/marks. Get it? The lightning scar. Part of the storyline: The scar was actually a rift, like a crack in a mirror, to his "awakened" form. Haha. Yes, I can tell, making this story will be extremely fun.
Overall it'd have a very aesthetic looking appeal.
Ah yes, I can imagine it now. Soul Wyvern (Awakened). The Aegis of Water.
I've been wanting to use that word, "Aegis" for a very long time. It's a nice word that is visually appealing, yet sounding very nice as well.
And I think Wyvern's Legendary form would fit that well.
Now just the storyline. . . . now that'll be quite fun. . . .Ah yes, my version of Mega evolution? *cough* Pokémon? *cough*
Mega-Soul Wyvern. Hah! xD
Again, I really hope Nulgath somehow makes characters inspired by Groudon/Kyogre since Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire will be coming out in just months. So excited.
