1. ]Stop the bs of giving free weapons, I am so tired and sick of this. To me every weapon is similar, even a unique core has no meaning, I could probably kill a person with an azrael gun core with me without a core. Yes, give free weapons probably every 4/5 months. When you use twitter to give out codes, I was so annoyed as to how hard it was to get ( me waiting and waiting to get the weapon and after 5 seconds its gone, that is what wanted me to rage staying up till 4am in the morning just to get one weapon. It made my drive so crazy that I can barely touch this game anymore). Alot of people will probably disagree with me on this one for sure. It seems some players like prize codes and some players dislike prize codes. The main issue with prize codes is that they are often depleted too quickly, or they come at inconvenient times. Of course, if this time was convenient for all players, then anyone that wanted the prize would be able to redeem it and thus the item would lose its rarity. From what I can see from the last prize codes that were given out (the home item statues of the developers), the prize codes were given out at multiple different times of the day and there was plenty of stock. If you feel like prize codes are not worth staying up for, or you do not like getting free items, then you can choose to not participate. I can not see a reason why this should be removed for the players that do enjoy prize codes though. quote:
The one thing I think will revive this game is new classes. Better/improved state of the art technology....ehhh the hard part of there job is developing "sci-fi" things. Also make some classes for the variums that only variums can get, yes I understand you might think the class is p2w....but just make classes for variums that will make it rare for non varium not to touch to make it unique. Balance may be the problem but just do it. It won't hurt to try, maybe even do what AQW do but different. Maybe you can give the variums a touch on the new classes (by equipping it, not buying it) to test to see if they work for a day and if the class is too OP, you can put the class on a 1-24h limit as to when this item will disappear and when the class is improved, you can put it on the class store. I also think classes should be in our inventory for us to buy, if you think the price is too low to buy all classes, why not put a bump on the price of varium/credits It has been stated before that no new classes will be added until balance has improved to a certain point. If you "just do it" and it negatively impacts the balance of the game, then this will cause even more problems with players not wanting to play. Classes and skills also require a lot of coding, designing and animating on top of balancing, and if the new class was severely imbalanced, then it would discourage more people to not play as it is likely no new content would have been released during that time. I believe it is not possible for classes to behave like they do in AQW (having them in your inventory and then being able to equip them) due to limitations in the way the engine is coded. Classes in AQW require a lot less balancing (since it is not mainly a PvP game, but only has some PvP included), they also have a lot less skills, and their team is much larger so that is why they are able to release classes as often as they do. quote:
2. Your cutscenes are so boring to me. I just look at them staring into space. Yes the graphics are really good but it is just so boring for me to watch. Please don't make offense, I just want to make your game better and give you suggestions as to what can be improved. New storylines and a revamp on cutscenes, it is so stale for me to watch the cutscenes. Why don't you make us engage in them? for example in AQW you have to pick a side, evil or good in the cutscene where as in ED you make an account and you pick a side. there is no interaction in a cutscene to be sure as to which side we should pick. Cutscenes take a lot of time to animate, which is why there haven't been any recently. Cinderella, who is in charge of the storyline, is also working on her PhD, so she is unable to dedicate enough time to build on the storyline. I would love to see the storyline progress more, but with the current size of the team, there just isn't anyone who is able to dedicate the time required to build the storyline. Interactive cutscenes would not only require animating, but also coding, and without anyone to properly develop the storyline, it is likely not a high priority to work on coding them. quote:
3. The map. It is really good but maybe you could enhance it abit. I can just jump to any NPC i like in the game. Why not make a limit as to how we can get those NPC on the map to jump. Like someone said, some of us love our "mystical adventures" If you prefer travelling to locations on the map, I believe it is possible to travel through most of Delta V manually, by using the teleporter pads located in Central Station and throughout other areas. I'm not a fan of the list of NPCs, but some players were complaining that this new map design was a step in the wrong direction since it previously required you to travel all throughout the area to reach your location. A simple solution to this could be that there would be an option in the list of NPCs to jump to the start of the map (or a teleporter pad). quote:
4. Animated armor/weapons/aux. If it causes too much lag, why not have a button to turn it off. I would love the idea of weapons being animated as you walk around Delta V. I don't mean the animations In battle for example look at the pyromancer in AQW. This would probably fall under low priority as it's an aesthetic feature that would require a lot of coding and animating. In AQW, the map screen is also where you battle, so it would make sense to include more animations there, but in ED it is likely this would end up being something that may be cool when it first comes out, but ends up being something that most would just disable to increase performance. quote:
5. The arcade machines suck. Look at exbeon spending atlest his whole allowance (alot of dollars) to buy battle tokens. Yes the mission to get free battle tokens is very good. It is impressive. But look, why not give like 30 free battle tokens for people who buy 10k varium OR why not have a arcade machine token in the 10k varium package that will unlock a shop that gives x (number) free battle token per day. The token will last for a few months and when that token expires it will dissappear from the inventory and you cannot go on that shop until you buy 10k varium package again. The arcade is a lottery system, so it is a game of chance. It is completely up to you whether or not you wish to spend varium to play the arcade for your chance to win the prize that you want. If free arcade tokens were given to players that purchased varium, then varium players would have an even larger advantage in the arcade leaderboards and achievements (which is why the price to purchase an arcade token is so high). I think that having another daily mission chain solely for players who have purchased varium in the past x days is a good alternative (since you are still earning the token), but I am not sure if the engine is built to allow that.
