Just fought a battle that took 35 rounds to finish lol. I being a tank mage and him being a tank bounty hunter. Anyone else had some interesting long drawn out fights lately?

2 tank/high dex tm can make the most broken battle ever, it can easely last 40 rounds if one side decides to heal loop.

maybe dex isnt the problem maybe its the multi and stun skill for tm that need a nerf or the whole class in general needs a nerf.

I don't necessarily think long battles are interesting or strategic, because most of them are pattern-based: e.g. assimilate, overload, battery, heal, repeat until one dies.

I'd rather think a smart decisive move in 2v2 - like using Azrael's Will to save your partner from certain death and turning the tide of the battle - could be considered as strategic.

DEX and the Passive to Active update is the main problem not the Overload and Plasma rain. The skills are fine. Without blocks it is very easy to kill dex mages (and Celtic sword helps a lot). And energy steals cripple dex TM easily. TM does not need another nerf. Assimilation (now 50% give back) and Battery (now 5 turns and lower return) was enough nerfs.

The main problem is that current Omega is that its riddled with many complications like Legendary Ranks (inbalances among ranks and just unfair to lower levels), Passive to Active (uselessness like Shadow Arts*), and arguably some base mechanics like STR, DEX, SUPP that ruin this balance.

Dex mages were never a problem before this Passive to Active so the main problem is not Overload and Plasma Rain.
