Patch Notes - 1.6.16
NEW CHANGES/FEATURES:
  • Now targeting a minimum Flash Player version of 11.1 (previously 10.3). Please make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed.
  • War Rally duration increased from 30 minutes to 60 minutes
  • War Supply effectiveness increased from 1.5x to 2x during War Rallies
  • New Peacemaker achievement available when completing the “Lionhart Alliance Part 1” mission chain (2,000 rating points!)
  • Sword of Alliance P mission reward available for Lionhart Alliance Part 1 mission “Exile Rally”

BALANCE CHANGES:
  • Cyber Hunter
    • Plasma Grenade
      • Energy Cost = 160 + 20 / level → 130 + 20 / level
      • Damage from level scaling now equivalent to Stun Grenade
  • Bounty Hunter / Cyber Hunter
    • Shadow Arts
      • Energy Cost = 110 + 20 / level → 110 + 15 / level
  • Mercenary / Tactical Mercenary
    • Double Strike
      • Energy Cost = 150 + 20 / level → 140 + 15 / level
  • Blood Mage
    • Energy Parasite:
      • Initial damage = 70% → 85% primary damage

BUGS FIXED:
  • Fixed zombie issue when delivering killing blow with Robots
  • Fixed issue with the regional War Leaderboards
    • Display would not update correctly if you viewed Leaderboards from multiple regions during the same sessions
  • Fixed several typos

What's this in layman's terms?

So far all I can make out is: the energy cost is 130 divided by the level which is better or greater than 125 divided by the level?

Slashes and arrows at the main culprit of my confusion.

^It means that the energy cost was previously 110 energy at skill level 1 + 20 energy per skill level increase and it is now 110 energy at skill level 1 + 15 energy per skill level increase.

In your example: At level 1, it costs 110 Energy Points. Every time you invest one skill point into a skill, its going to cost more energy points to use as you level up the skill. Previously in that example, it used to increase by 20 Energy Points per level. Now after this update, its going to increase by 15 Energy Points per level. Example:

    3. 150
    4. 170
    5. 190
    6. 210
    7. 230
    8. 250
    9. 270
    10. 290
New Energy Costs for Shadow Arts:
    1. 110

Um wait, is that the proper scaling?

Level 3 to 4 should be 140 to 155 and 9 to 10 should be 230 to 245, unless there is something I missed. Mistake on my part. Has been fixed in my post. ~Mecha

About the actual balance though, I like it. Finally the right skills have been buffed. Plasma Grenade is very usable now, Shadow Arts is still kind of weak but getting there. Energy Parasite also still needs a buff but more about burst drain rather then damage. And Double Strike is now maxable to some extent, it should be at level 1, 130 or 140 EP though. Even though it has a 1 turn cooldown, its kind of useless if you run out of energy that fast for an attack that can miss.

new quest chain is tons of free money if you're high enough level. I think I got 8-9k credits in half an hour or so.

This is like saying that legendary rank 20 being high-leveled is a joke. Exactly how much play time would one have to put in to reach rank 20?

The story is a good read but really I'm not a fan of the Might Equals Right thing we have going on here.

Oh he's stronger than me in this battle his cause must be the just one.

Personally I enjoyed some of the back scratching we had to do in previous chains but god knows how long this chain would be if we had to scratch the back of everyone on this list

i hope that this not keeps progressive if the legion keeps losing (30, 60, 90, 120/180... mins and 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x/3x... to infinite)

Just noticed that the Overlord Guard, who is a Legion member, is 'friends' with Oz - to the extent that he is unwilling to arrest him. And, queerly, that his superiors have noted that an important Exile figure is chilling in Central Station without anyone bothering to confront him. I'm going to regard the second point as a plot hole for now, but the first is interesting. Might mutual hatred of Alydriah bring Legion and Exile together? To what extent do the non-Alydriah Legionnaires serve Baelius - do they simply strive to preserve order?

@^ Alydriah has always been on the extreme end of things and her story goes as far as to say she could care less about Exile or Legion she just wants power.

So have Legion members not liking Alydriah in my mind is to be very much expected.

I have to agree about Oz and the Overlord Guard but sometimes a friend on the other side is a very powerful tool. As for who is using who I have no clue and I really want to see where this is going

you not understand what i try say. in a game that bots cost 45k (basic equipament) and the lengendary mode cost 885k, 9k is a joke, the most cheap bot of game cost 20k.

@dfo99: You don't want the credits? Well, if you think it is low, why don't try to earn them? Have fun having approximately 282 fights to be done in 1 vs 1 and try winning them all in a row. Wouldn't be nice wouldn't it? Be grateful for the rewards. I'm actually against giving such rewards since players tend to be greedy and ungrateful even if given what they want.

Overlord Ops
Lower level players may find the Lionhart Alliance missions too challenging, but don't fret, the Overlord Guard could use your help! Even with an invasion fleet looming overhead, he's still trying his best to enforce law and order in the Overlord Facility. Help him do his duty for a sizeable reward!

Notice the bolded part, which indicates it is more of an aid to lower levels, which it certainly does a good job of in my opinion, having a character at lvl 23 and one at 16.

Devs forgot to cap legendary ranks at 100...Comicalbiker is rank 101 right now -_-

Even so there are only 60 ranks that can be used. once you max out everything unless you add more options for the ranks the extra's have no effect on battle.
