Should ED cycle through eras? (Full Version)

Should ED change eras? Right now im guessing we're in a futuristic era. What if we swtiched to an era like The Golden Age? Or maybe even the Stone age? How would you feel about this? Changing the style of ED? You may argue that we already have this (phases). But with phases, the style of ED really dosen't change. If we switched the era then everything down to the way the npcs are dressed will change.

Guessing you want the appropriate weapons used within that era too? Like Romans and stuff..? Probably long shot but interesting idea nontheless.

I think it would be to much work creating that much art, but it would be cool if ED cycled through all the phases.

Yes it will be alot of work, but look at all the ED team has done.

Epic duel is based off of a scientific futuristic punk thing. Doing something like this would threw the game's theme off. Not to mention would take away time from balance as well. While adding new art is good for those who like content devoting all man power to this would be a bad idea.

Ok, here's what I picture.

All our Primary weapons turn into sticks and clubs. Our sidearms are rocks. Our auxiliaries are even bigger rocks. Our robots are sheep and cows.

Yea..that doesn't look too pretty [:-] And how exactly would players with Sci-Fi weapons fit into these eras? Would be a little too complicated.

It's a cool idea, but as mother said, would take up a lot of time that the devs should really be placing elsewhere.
