Starstruck -> Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery), Closed (6/20/2014 11:35:14)

Amidst the blistering heat of summer, gather round the softly glowing campfire as the night cools down our half of the world. Come and listen to the tale of a night as cold as ice, and a heart even more frigid than the darkest, coldest corner of the world. Come and listen to the tale of secrets and secrecy, of tragedy and of fear. Come. And listen.

You look up. A large building stands at the end of a winding path. Your breath condenses before you, and you observe the wisps of hot air waft away from you in the winter breeze. The first flakes of the last snow of the year begin to fall. You tighten your heavy wrappings around you, or maybe you don't. Maybe you hurry to open the door, and maybe you don't. The important thing is that you are at this party for a reason, and that reason could be shamefully greedy, or...perhaps it takes a more sinister bent. But one thing is universal; you expect silence from your host. Complete and total silence. Because the alternative does not even bear thinking about.

The party is a great success, and you are waiting to get a word in edgewise to Nippy; if you were paying attention, you may have noticed a few others whispering to the host about some sensitive topic or other. The lights shine brightly, illuminating the vast halls and shining out over the gathering snow, already blocking exit from the doors; that's okay. You don't mind being trapped in here for a long time. It is warm, and there is firewood to spare; you can make yourself quite cozy, and perhaps make a few new close acquaintances.

Your turn has come, and Nippy turns to you with an expectant smile. "Well?" he mutters with a wink, "What will you offer me for my continued silence, friend? Someone asked me about you just a few minutes ago. If you give me nothing, how will you know I'll stay quiet?" As you lean in close, you whisper, so that nobody but he and you know any of this had ever occurred: "Dead men don't tell tales."

The Rules (read this! They are not generic rules, they are specific to this RP):

1. Nippy Dies. That is the only spoiler you will need in this RP. Communication between players, with few exceptions, is strongly discouraged due to the sensitive nature of this particular RP. An RP based on secrets will lose every ounce its charm if all secrets are immediately exposed.
2. Follow all RP Forum Rules. If a secret is accidentally revealed, it is your responsibility to keep this knowledge to yourself and not allow it to enter your posts.
3. This RP has extremely little combat and does not allow greater magic. Lesser magics, such as healing, will be approved on a discretionary basis.
4. Each character is unique and individual. To reinforce this concept, every guest will have one fiercely guarded secret and one situational advantage, possibly including the secret of committing the murder. Please keep secrets family-friendly. If you cannot think of one, I will assign you one.
5. I don't think this will become a problem, but please maintain some form of decorum and refrain from joke-cracking characters. Murder, especially serial murder, is not something to be taken lightly. This RP is, understandably, dark, with an initially light facade, and RPers should be mature enough to handle this concept.
6. There is no punishment in this RP for OOC-metagaming, so long as it remains in character and at a reasonable level (I consider this distinct from IC-metagaming, where things take place where your character is not involved and would not know about them, yet has knowledge of the results enough to draw conclusions). This is an RP of secrets. If you can't disguise or guard your own, watch out for the consequences. Obviously if you can't make it realistic, you'll have to do it over again.
7. I do understand about life, I really do. However, there are 10080 minutes per week, and 4 times that number in a month. Surely you can spare 15 minutes of your time to hammer out a response. Yes, I will believe you when you say you don't have time, because I'm not unreasonable. But if you can't post within a month of having the opportunity to post, I'm going to have to seriously doubt your claim.
8. Collaborative posts have an unusual twist in this RP. Similarly to D&D with a game moderator, you will PM the intended recipient of your action and he/she/it will describe the response. You will then post that action and its response in the form of a post, and the recipient will PM me the interaction to ensure that no foul play occurs. You may PM multiple times to clarify, but otherwise please keep it short and sweet. I consider collaboration as a recipient to be participation, just in the off chance that someone gets swamped with collab requests and doesn't get a chance to make a post of their own.
9. This RP is canon.

A bio skeleton has been provided for your convenience - you may add to it as you wish. I do require all provided categories to be completed.

Your relationship to Nippy is of course a secret, and, along with your personal secret(s), will be PMd to me upon posting your bio. Do not post them in the thread, as there will be much mockery and you will have to find new secrets. Please ensure your character is cohesive and that, while your secret will feel somewhat exposed, you have the means to disguise it effectively.

Arthur -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/20/2014 12:03:51)

This will be new to me. I'll really have to rack up my brain to create a character. The bio, much to my relief, is surprisingly compact which I find to be solidly supportive.

Anyways, what would you suggest for the Skills and Abilities section...?

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/20/2014 19:04:30)

It's a supplement to History, for me, and a reference for the other players. It's included primarily for your assistance, as it will allow you to develop your character more comprehensively. I recommend filling it out first of all of them, then name/race, then history, then occupation, then appearance, then create your secrets.

I would prefer that the number of "functional"/anti-murder/discovery skills be limited to 1 (but also recommend that one be present), and I will be vetting them and keeping a close eye on them to ensure they do not get out of hand.

Obviously if you're the murderer you will have several skills that will not be provided to the general public; include them in your PM when you request the status of murderer.

An example of having a skill or ability that would provide you functional help would be the minor healing magic discussed elsewhere. An example of a skill or ability that would allow you to develop your character further would be to include a skill of gardening or money management. Because your characters are not fighting each other, you have the chance to include skills and abilities that are more...civilian in nature, if that makes sense. You could be a good driver. You could have a keen eye for fashion. You could own well-trained puppies.

DaiTigris -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/21/2014 1:01:58)

Ooooo, time to crack out the brief case of mystery oriented tricks. Hope to have a character finished soon [:)]

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/26/2014 23:05:58)

I have received a total of 0 submissions and will begin the RP when I have received 6 submissions. More characters are free to join up until the denouement, at which point submissions will be closed.

Why 6? It seems to be good enough for Clue.

DaiTigris -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/27/2014 19:15:50)

Quick questions: What exactly is the setting of this world?(EX: Dragon Fable, Adventure Quest, some random world, Ect.) What would be the roughly comparable time period to said universe? And could we get a brief bio for Nippy, just so I can understand his character a little better before his demise?

After having those answered, I think I'm just about ready to polish up the bio and post it.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (6/28/2014 7:05:33)

AQ, and there isn't much equivalence to real world I'm afraid. 1400s I guess?

Nippy is The Godfather. He knows everything and he's a sad little moglin with a sad little life and OOH don't you just hate him SO MUCH. Just look at that smug smile. He looks like a mini Santa but don't be fooled. He knows EVERYTHING about EVERYONE and if it wasn't for the fact that he knows that I once rode a horse into a tree I'd probably punt him to next Tuesday. Well, probably not, because then he really wouldn't have anything to use against me.

Everyone thinks Nippy is smug and can't stand him, but only if they have something big to hide. He's profoundly political and actually very helpful to everyone, but he deals in information and that makes enemies. That and he is admittedly very smug and overconfident.

Kellehendros -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (7/10/2014 21:42:55)

Noting interest. I'll start pulling some things together.

Edit: Bio follows.

Name: Cordrain Tor
Race: Dwarf
Occupation: Store owner

Appearance:
Like most members of his race, Cordrain is short and stocky, built of muscle and solid bone. He has brown eyes set deep into his face, which might look almost cadaverous, if it wasn't for the long, glossy brown beard that descends from his cheeks and chin, hanging down to his waist. Cordrain is rather proud of that luxuriant beard, which he painstakingly maintains, and braids into fantastic, intricate patterns.

Cordrain clothes himself in simple but well tailored leather and cloth. He dresses well, but not extravagantly. His beard is his point of pride, and he is shrewd enough a merchant to know that the adventurers and soldiers who form the majority of his customer base tend not to trust a merchant who flaunts his wealth too openly.

History:
Cordrain is a "skydweller," a dwarf who was born, and has lived his entire life, on the surface. He has, from time to time, visited the mountainhomes and cavern cities of his ancestors and progenitors, but they never appealed to him. A dwarf in name, but perhaps not in practice, Cordrain eschewed traditional dwarven mining and smithing in favor of more commercial enterprises.

He has a knack for negotiation, and skill for acquisition, and found success fairly quickly, expanding his operations to open his own full-fledged store, serving as an outfitter and supplier for adventurers, expeditions, and even military outfits looking for bulk supplies.

Skills and Abilities:
As a long time merchant, Cordrain has the skills that naturally accompany a successful business owner. He has a good head for numbers, drives a hard bargain, and has an almost supernatural ability to find and exploit a deal. He is also good at appraising the worth of the random, generally useless, junk that adventurers and the like cart into his shop.

As a dwarf, Cordrain enjoys, to a degree, greater physical strength and endurance than the average person. Though he does his best to avoid fighting, he's been in a fistfight or two, and he can take a deal of punishment, not to mention his strong constitution makes him more resistant to sickness and ailments.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (7/13/2014 16:39:32)

Bios received: 1 (thanks Kell)

Kell did something unconventional but fairly intelligent; if you're having trouble thinking of a character, go ahead and ask me for a secret. I'll be happy to oblige you and provide you with something reasonably creative. No, I won't make your character for you (I have Nippy! Spoiler: he dies right away, wow what a loser), but it may help you decide what kind of person your character is.

Just a suggestion!

Don't forget to PM me with all the juicy details up front.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/22/2014 1:10:06)

I now have four bios. Again, this will begin once I have 6 entrants.

Arthur -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/22/2014 11:21:08)

Question, how much knowledge does one have to have about AQ in order to be able to follow the RP...?

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/22/2014 23:43:02)

None. You might want to brush up on your Agatha Christie, though.

Honestly I haven't actually played AE games in centuries so there's not terribly much in the way of game knowledge that I'm ever going to require.

Arthur -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/23/2014 0:15:55)

A'right. I'll get down to it then.

DaiTigris -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/26/2014 14:35:40)

Hmmmm, about time I posted this. Good day and always keep your magnifying glass handy.

Name: Jasper Schatz
Race: Human
Age: 25
Occupation:Nobility: Heir to a prestigious estate near the city of Deren.

Appearance: Jasper is a fiery red harried man with clouded grey eyes. His face is uniquely square shaped and a thin pointed nose. He stands about 5ft, 3in, and has an overall medium sized rectangle build. He typically wears black embroidered robe over a nice white dress shirt and black pants. A faint old scar runs horizontally across the back of his right hand. He always carries a gold hilt rapier wherever he goes.

History (sans secrets): Jasper Schatz was born to a well known noble family located on an estate near the city of Deren. The family of Shartz was well known for its strong willed individuals. Jasper was no exception among the family and it was often joked that in truth he was actually 10 Shartz put together. He grew up amongst a large family of 10 boisterous younger brothers and one delicate younger sister. Living in such a strong family atmosphere ingrained him with a love for family and a fierce sense of protecting them them. While there where many opportunities for Jasper to engage in many pursuits the art of swordplay greatly intrigued him from a young age and he quickly became skilled wielding a rapier.

He was an energetic and adventurous as a youth, but his lack of caution brought him into many dangerous circumstances. He had a tendency to duel opponents who where much more skilled than him. He made enemies of many of the neighboring lords and did not curb his tongue because of one's rank. He was however just at heart however and would always lend aid to those in need. No matter what kind of foe he faced he had the determination to fight till the end. Until one day he fought a foe that utterly destroyed him.

The exact details of this battle went down or against who was unknown to everyone. The only thing anyone else knew was that Jasper had come back as a different man and his favored right hand for dueling had been injured. Despite being able to afford some of the greatest healers in the land that could have treated the injury he refused to let anyone so much as look at it. All aside the effects of the event lead the fiery outspoken youth everyone had known became withdrawn and silent. The change even effected his family relations and he was prone to spending long amounts of time alone. Sometimes during these disappearances he would be found training his swordplay in the most rigorous manner as if he was trying to figure something out. Despite continuing to honing his skills with a blade the word began to spread that the youth must have finally learned a lesson about dueling recklessly and was finally beginning to settle down into reigns of high society.

However shortly after the incident small amounts of the family fortune began to disappear. At first it seemed barely noticeable but the amount steadily increased as the years grew closer and closer to Jasper inheriting the family estate. The family suspected that treacherous staff where responsible for the disappearances of the fortune, but in truth Jasper knew where the money was going all along. Nippy had a way of finding out the unknown and to keep it unknown always required a price to be paid.

Personality: For the most part he keeps to himself. He is not an open person and does not let others know about his feelings or emotions from an external perspective. This tends to cause others to think that he is emotionless, while in actuality it is quite the opposite in reality. Internally he is a maelstrom of emotions and is extremely sensitive to others actions. If in a threatening situation his first reflexive reaction is to ensure his own well being.

Skills and Abilities:
Jasper is fairly well trained in the art of sword dueling. His weapon of choice is a rapier, mostly because of it's prestige as a weapon and its quick thrusting attacks. Normally he duels with his left hand but is better when dueling with his right hand. He will only switch to his right hand in severe circumstances as the muscles in his hand never properly healed from the injury and using it pains him greatly.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/27/2014 8:36:07)

Mm yes please don't forget to post the public version of your bio.

Apocalypse has not been approved yet, mostly because he was involved in the EC this year, so here is his bio. Hopefully he can get approved before we begin.

quote:

Name: Avise Israfil
Race: Elf
Occupation: Investor

Appearance:
Avise is a tall, pale, and lithe elf, with a particularly slender frame (unlike her warrior cousins, she has never lifted a bow or held a blade before). She has wavy brown hair that is cropped shorter in the back, but long enough to reach a little past her chin in the front. A strand will occasionally fall across the right side of her face, obscuring it. Her eyes are a deep shade of violet, giving her an entrancing appearance. She looks like she is in her mid to late twenties, but with her elvish blood, who knows?
She foregoes the dresses and ballgowns of the typical high-class woman and instead wears female variations of what wealthy men wear - slim suits and jackets and the like with perhaps a little more color here and a little more flare there. She likes the look and the freedom it gives. "Positively liberating" is how she describes it.

History (secret-less):
Born in Forlorn Forest to a lower elvish lord, Avise never felt like she was the match that her family wanted her to be. She was no warrior, and neither did she feel compelled to study the arcane like her father. At sixteen, Avise left the forest to her family (and her father's title to her younger brother) to travel the land as a simple wanderer. She met and made many friends over the first few years, but the most important was Alexander. A young man with a hefty inheritance with a love for risk and a traveling elf, the two became close friends. They traveled from city to city, and when Alexander was to return home, it was not without offering Avise a place to stay - an offer she accepted without hesitation. Unfortunately, disease took Alexander not too long after and all of his wealth could not persuade death to wait a bit longer. On his last day, Alexander gave Avise two last gifts: the first being a silver necklace he had been saving, and the other his will, which bequeathed all of his worldly possesions to Avise.
Avise does not travel as much as she used to, instead living in Alexander's estate and rarely traveling far from the city. However, she still frequents parties and other expensive events thrown by the rich and powerful (a necessity for a wealthy investor to continue being wealthy). She throws some of her own on occasion, but much prefers to play the role of exalted guest than host.

Skills and Abilities:

Avise has always been good at reading people, particularly in whether or not they are lying. However, she is not perfect in this trade and can be duped by individuals who excel at deception and misdirection (though she may get a "strange vibe" from them, but that just informs her that she does not know when they are telling the truth or lying). She is good at detecting lies in new acquaintances, but does get better the more interactions she has with them.
A frequent attendant at parties and other social gatherings, Avise is excellent in striking up conversations with strangers and meeting the individuals of importance (though part of it may be due to those individuals also seek her from time to time). Easy to talk to and, for lack of better words, fun.
She is accustomed to slow-paced dances and is quite graceful.
Avise also plays the harp in her spare time. She has not been known to offer her services in exchange for money, but she will play if enough people encourage her to do so. Occasionally she will sing, and she has quite the voice.
Also a seasoned horseback rider.

Arthur -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/27/2014 8:39:03)

Any ideas as to when we start...?

EDIT: Here's my bio,

quote:

Name: Wayne Anticus
Race: Human
Occupation: Artist

Appearance: Wayne is a young man in his thirties who stands at an average height of 5'11" and weighs a meagre 68 kilos. Being hugely underweight, his frame is naturally very lank and has a sickly look about him. His pallid complexion is naturally complemented by his emerald colored eyes that have a twinkle in them. Wayne has a bony face with his cheekbones visibly sticking out somewhat even as his eyes seem to have sunk into his cheeks.

A neatly trimmed beard adorns the lower half of his face shaved into a French cut. Directly in contrast with this aspect are his brown hair, messy and unkempt down to every last strand.

Wayne wears a grey overcoat on top of a plain green shirt which he further wears over a tight-fitting white thermal vest that serves to keep the cold at bay. For lower apparel, he wears brown trousers and high fur boots.

History (sans secrets): Wayne always had a liking for nature and even as a kid, he would take his pencil and a pad down to the creek where he would sit and sketch out all that he could for hours on end. From a very young age, Wayne was a very obedient child who would help carry out the household chores and help his parents with their work in spite of remaining sick all the time. His mother was very fond of him and would devote most of her time nursing him back to health. His father, however was a very busy man who would often be away on work carrying out random tasks and such.

As Wayne grew older, his mom contracted some mysterious disease that caused her to weaken gradually until one day, she could no longer move her legs. With all her movement having stopped, she took to the bed and lay there month after month as Wayne took on the responsibility of looking after her.

Unfortunately, she had weakened much and couldn't hold out for long. She passed away in her sleep one night.

Wayne's father never returned from his errand and Wayne was left alone to fend for himself. And so, packing his material and such, he locked the house and left.

Skills and Abilities:

Naturally, being an artist, Wayne has good sketching and rendering skills that allow him to speed sketch things with considerable ease and a good amount of accuracy.

Additionally, Wayne has photographic memory and remembers things exactly how he's seen them from his recent memory.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/27/2014 18:32:18)

Likely this will start around wintertime - we're in no rush here, and it's just so thematically fitting to have this be in the winter.

I may consider adding more openings because while everyone appears to be around, activity is a tricky demon. I'd like to have the freedom to cut inactive members, which isn't something I can necessarily do with only six people - especially if the inactive one happens to be (gasp!) THE MURDERER.

I'll probably end up doing most of the creative leg work here, along with whoever is the murderer, to drop clues. Most of the mystery solving will probably be either OOC or behind the scenes; IC will be used mostly as a repository for clues and a place to make official guesses, sleuth around, and reveal secrets.

When it comes to secrets: It is required that you drop clues to your character's secret. If your secret is "used to do part time work as a clown," you must have at least 3 posts in the RP that include clues to this secret - e.g. nervousness around the subject of history, a suspicious ability to entertain (or an avoidance of jokes or laughter), and a few reference to makeup or large shoes. This number is arbitrary and can be increased or decreased as the RP progresses. You will, of course, make sure with me that your clues actually count as clues.

The goal of the murder mystery is not necessarily to find the murderer, but simply to survive to the end of the week. Throwing other players under the bus is encouraged, and what better way to do it than to make their shameful secrets public? Especially since metagaming is not only allowed but encouraged...no hard feelings, gents :) Your public bio is the vague background info that everyone at the party has on you - for instance, everyone knows that Wayne's mom died of a mysterious disease and that his dad left, and that he's an artist. That's what's been rumored through the grapevine or told to you directly. Beyond that is anyone's guess, really.

This is all just random tidbits as I continue to develop the idea. If there's anything you don't like, feel free to suggest alternatives!

So far I'm loving the secrets that are being sent - a couple stand out as particularly diabolical. Keep em coming!

Dragonnightwolf -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/28/2014 22:25:28)

Name: Jim Falls

Gender: Male

Age Range: 44 in human years

Race (pure or halfbreed only): Werewolf

Appearance (build hair skin clothes…): In Human Form Jim stands at 5,8 and weighs 150 lbs with deep rich combed black hair and dark pale-blue eyes. He wears a purple trenchcoat and has a mustache that is properly groomed. His skin is tanned and his body is muscular (like someone who works out every single day). Beneath the trechcoat Jim always wears some kind of Wolf shirt long or short sleeved depending on the day and his mood. He wears Jeans that are cut-offs and he wears black boots made of leather. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his right shoulder and he has a tattoo of a wolf on his bare chest and back.
If he transforms, the tattoo’s remain despite his otherworldly appearance.
In werewolf form he stands at 7 feet tall, has fur all over his body, a tail in the back end. Claws that are extremely sharp and usually are in length of about three quarters of a foot from the hands.

Belongings: Besides his clothes, Jim has a quarterstaff made of admantainium and he carries a bow with 24 arrows, 12 of which are poisonous to non-werewolf creatures and 12 that explode upon contact. The case that the arrows are in is water resistant and fire proof so as not to cause him to blow up. The quarterstaff is usually carried in his hand, and the bow/arrows are in a casing (much like what you would see Robin Hood or Legolas wear.)

Personality: Normally his demeanor is calm and controlled. He does have a tendency to be ruthless and merciless if he is in a blood rage. (Ie if he is wounded quite significantly). Depending on the opponent, he may or may not show mercy.

Skills: Higher sense of smell, Higher awareness with sight. Able to see corporeal entities (ie things that lurk in the dark or ghosts, etc.) Higher sense of hearing.
History: When he was only 5, his mother and father were slain by a pack of Werewolves and Jim was bitten. He suffered the curse alone, befriending a doctor of the supernatural arts. This doctor housed Jim and he eventually evolved into what he is today. Jim has knowledge of the supernatural and can heal most wounds with the exception of Silver and heavy doses of fire.

(ooc comment: I already had this made up from something else and I figured this should do for what we talked of SS.)

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (10/29/2014 0:06:44)

DaiTigris -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (12/13/2014 15:10:21)

How are things looking Star? Are we still waiting on any particular factor?

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (12/25/2014 18:19:30)

my post got eaten/possibly not posted and also deja vu

It's Christmas by now so I'll just go ahead and play the 6th character. OP should be up in a few hours provided it's as simple as I expected - just have to RNG the murderer, clear my inbox, and set the tone with an intro post.

I'll post for both myself and anyone who is unable to post but able to PM me.

Starstruck -> RE: Frozen Heart (A Winter Mystery) (12/26/2014 21:21:08)

This was intended to go up yesterday but I ended up having a good time playing some online games with a few friends who don't live in my area anymore. Anyway, the intro post is just a short, fun poem which you should enjoy - I didn't spend very long on it, so don't expect any masterpieces, but I made sure it sounded ok out loud. c:

And now that certain things have been resolved as well as protocol followed, the IC thread shall be reappearing shortly. Take note, folks, the new rules are not just for show! Enjoy, and I look forward to reading through the thread when I get the free time to spare, not that there has been much lately. ~Ronin

Here is my character:

Name: Talula Jameson
Race: Moglin
Occupation: Doctor/Dancer

Appearance: Talula is smaller than average, with the large ears and adorable teddy-bear features distinctive to most moglins. She wears a red evening gown that is sharply distinct in color from her brighter-red fur, and her healer's staff is crafted from cherry wood and adorned with a sprig of holly to commemorate the Frostval season. A white lily sweetly adorns her ear, and a faint floral scent lingers in the air.

History (sans secrets): This petite moglin has had quite a rough past. Growing up in a shady part of town left her with some unresolved stress issues; she is quick to jump at nothing and constantly nervous. Despite this, she is the sweetest moglin Nippy knows, and always willing to lend a helping hand. No doubt if she tried, she could assemble a network of information as vast as Nippy's, but she shows no inclination to and instead relays what she hears to the mastermind himself whenever he asks. She's certainly not his most reliable spy, and definitely not his most active, but she is one of his most trusted sources of information; if she says something, Nippy believes it.

Talula earned her doctoring license three years ago and has been practicing medicine for moglin families and some human families. She shows great promise in the field of magical healing. However, this is only a recent change; before she entered moglin medical school, Talula was an entertainer for many popular sporting events like Moglinball.

Skills and Abilities: Talula is a graceful and fluid dancer who seems to be in careful control of her actions at all times. She's got a powerful voice that is deeper than most moglins', making her a very popular singer for a variety of races, but her dancing is the skill she's most proud of. She has danced for many important figures in the past and has a bright career ahead of her. She also has minor healing magicks and is a licensed physician - though she's more like a family doctor than a traveler's companion. Capable of healing cuts, illnesses, and poisonings, her magic comes from a mysterious source within her body and is channeled through her staff to reach the recipient of her healing.

One of you will soon receive a PM telling you that you are the murderer. I will RNG the murderer, so be prepared: it could be anyone, even me.

EDIT: The PM has been sent. Let the games begin!

Your intro post will be simple. Enter the hall and enjoy yourself until the sun goes down. Nippy will, tragically, die overnight, kicking off the murder spree.

Submissions are STILL WELCOME, for a limited time. You may ask yourself, "How can this be? What if you are the murderer, Star? Will there be no murderer? Does this mean that you are definitely not the murderer? Does this mean that any newcomers will not be the murderer?" Well, IF I happen to be the murderer, and I'm not saying I am, the title of murderer will be passed on to the newcomer and Talula will no longer be the murderer. The same thing will happen if anyone becomes inactive and is replaced, though I doubt this will happen due to the unusual length of the RP.

Due to the fact that I know who the murderer is, Talula will not be voting or making accusations. You may consider her a possible murderer...or a possible victim.

Dragonnightwolf, I'm sorry, but you're going to have to edit your post.

quote:

Your intro post will be simple. Enter the hall and enjoy yourself until the sun goes down. Nippy will, tragically, die overnight, kicking off the murder spree.

I appreciate your attempts to drive the plot along but I assure you it is quite unnecessary.
