With such a small player base, it should be against the rules for two players to manipulate the system and get paired together each match. This is happening too much. I think the system should have the ability to realize that two chars are clicking at the same time and probably have a 3...2...1 in their chat log. Please look into this. Right now its too easy for a couple of legendary players to have complimentary builds and steamroll non-abusive players.

2 things

1 this should be in the suggestions part of the sight

2 Sorry but not supported.

Even with this it isn't 100% grantee that you will get partnered with the person so this is left 100% up to chance. Also if this is done 2 vs 2 parties that people do for fun will be taken away so in essence you are suggesting something that would take away another player's fun.

Its a balance issue because people are able to manipulate the balance of a 2v2 by exploiting this.

Are you serious... fun? Try rationalizing anything with that argument - its abuse, period.

Yes fun.

Example

I am with a group of friends we want a chance to battle each other. We call click at the same time to maximize the chance of doing this. We battle each other (if we are lucky and get together) and we have fun.

Many players have done this since this is the closet to ally linking we can get. Your suggestion takes away that fun. So that is why I don't support it.

So there should be a 2v2 party mode where you can do that. This way everyone wins.

So if I am rank 60 and hit 1 vs 1 I am not abusing is it ??

Perfectly fine if 2 rank 60 want to do this for 2 vs 2 .. Why should anyone be paired with noobs in 2 vs 2 ? If ed cant give a viably ally link mode.. we will have to use the good old could and fight !

Its designed to be a random matching system - trying to enter the matching system at the same time to get an advantageous battle is abusing the random matching system.

Look at it the other way - I could make a dummy alt with no equipment and have it "fight" 2v2 for the other side during a war. Wouldn't that be abuse?

Either way you approach it, trying to manipulate a random battle matching system is abuse.

your first example is correct since in fact that is a form of cheating that works 100% of the time for dummying. However even with this you are not grantee to get who you want. you can very well do this an not get the people you want. That is where it is random. if it was a 100% sure fire way of getting that result then I would agree but it isn't. There have been times people fail to get the result they want and they end up getting a random group anyways.

Plus as you pointed the matchmaking pool is already small. Doing something like this would guess what? make the pool even smaller because you just added another filter to it. Not the best thing to be doing when you have extremely small pools.

@zion: You aren't manipulating the matching system. The matching system doesn't always pair you as a team if you press it at the same time. You can't even control the factors that would make you a team. The server does that, meaning it's almost always downright impossible to manipulate the matching system.

The only case where you can actually manipulate the matching system is if you're on an empty server and are trying to rig a match with 4 people. In the old days players would specifically go to empty servers to rig 2v2, not Epic.

So until the day where you can actually decide your team without an ally link feature then we can call it manipulating the matching system because as it stands now you need conditions which aren't realistic on a server that has a decent amount of players.
