Musicaholic -> Is this against the rules- (6/30/2014 20:23:10)

...to use a color code to blend the text that appears on posts upon editing with the background?
(Text example: < Message edited by Musicaholic -- 6/30/2014 20:18:11 >)

I don't know why but this text especially bothers me and I would like to hide it, just so my posts look a bit neater. I wouldn't hide a moderator's/AK's edit, of course, just my own- but is that against the rules?

I'm pretty sure it's not. I've done this many times before over the years (and I'm sure other staff members have as well), and there's been no issues.

The color code is below, just incase you need to know.

[color=#EEEEEE]

Ah, that's great news- Thanks a bunch!

To add something what it's against the rules is to hide a message in "blank" space this has caused trouble in the past because people would post off topic or even rule breaking stuff there.

To further add to it.

Frequently, when Forum Staff see "hidden" text, it usually makes us think that there is something there that shouldn't be. It makes your post suspicious. Just be careful in using it.
