AQWorldsFarmer -> A Great Idea (7/8/2014 0:19:05)

As I was reading a thread from Xamurai, I saw a brilliant idea from Mother1: Defenses be based on percent! For those of you who don't understand the concept (or maybe I misunderstood and took it this way). Currently our defenses look like thi: Defense: 283-328 Resistance: 283-334 With Percentage it could look like this: (just numbers to play with) Physical Attacks Reduced by: 39% Energy Attacks Reduced by: 47% Also your armor could still be a flat damage reduction: Physical Attacks Reduced by: 39% (-70 Dmg) Energy Attacks Reduced by: 47% (-30 Dmg) As Mother1 said, this could help balance all builds. With the current method You block an exact amount no matter how much attack power your opponent has. This means damage oriented builds tend to overcome defense builds due to being able to almost ignore defenses. Of course this would require fixing some of the current skills such as Fire Scythe. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Another interesting idea would be to add 'power up' slots to equipment. These power up slots are basicly another type of core used to slightly power up each of you items. For example, I just bought a new sword and along with its standard Passive and Active cores, it has a smaller box where I can equip cores such as "Pedelum" This skill is passive: Steals 3 of your opponent's primary damage and adds to your's. Like so: My Primary: Samurai Sword (350 damage) Power up- Pendelum Passive: Primary Mastery Active: Frost Shards Opponent: Sword damage (350 damage) In Battle I know have 353 PRIMARY damage and my opponent has 347 PRIMARY damage. (In a 2v2 match it will 'sap' 2 from both enemies for a total of 4 damage.
