@ noobatron

The moment they made static stop working with raw damage and made it actual damage was the moment that cyber hunters became what they are. Cyber hunter was never balanced to begin with it was either under powered or overpowered.

Plus since most would rather copy builds than be creative due to balance we got the situation we have now. While I see a few creative builds out there most of them don't work when I fight against them or something to that extent.

Pemberton -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/18/2014 23:36:52)

CH is just not the best class for the boss. Just class change to TM or BM then class change back. 100,000 not a big deal.

Mother1 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/18/2014 23:45:24)

@ pemberton

if you aren't a hardcore player or a player who real money on varium it is a big deal. Every boss in the game other than this one can be beaten with every class and this boss should be no exception. Sure some classes should have an easier time than others due to skills that is a given. However at the same time it should not be impossible for a class to be able to beat a boss without class change.

But than again it could be that no one has found a winning build with CH just yet. I mean people did find the BH build to win but still.

Noobatron x3000 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/18/2014 23:58:31)

100k credits not being a bib deal is obviously sarcasm lol

its well over 3125 1v1 wins well over (I believe the normal reward in 32ish credits)

and 2v2 at 72? credits is 1388 considering 2v2 battles take far longer.

It has to be sarcasm.

Ranloth -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 5:58:36)

Gave in, and actually completed 10 x 1v1 and 7 x 2v2... just to find out there's 20 PvP wins afterwards... -.-

Variation -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 7:58:11)

It's pretty disappointing that nothing was done about Saeva Lionhart/Revontheus/Cyber Hunter. I guess majority classes rule, but that really shouldn't be applied to this game. The boss is nearly unbeatable for most players, and some classes need serious luck to beat him. Why should you need luck to beat a boss? It should all come down to strategy, not hoping that you block his bludgeon and he doesn't double crit stun you.

Cyber Hunter could do it if Static Charge got a decent buff (which is really needed). Cyber Hunter's biggest problem is that they can't drain the boss, which means the boss will have plenty of energy to use his high damaging skills. Some classes such as Tactical Mercenary don't even have to drain him, they can spam Blood Shield and Battery Backup and completely destroy him (eventually the boss drains himself). This boss makes it obvious how underpowered CH is and it completely justifies a buff for that class. Like I've implied before it's not right for people to class change just to defeat a boss. They shouldn't have to. I hope something is done about this boss.

Xamurai -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 9:27:41)

I personally think that Saeva was a bit to hard. Not for BM but for the other classes it was slightly unfair. His damage output is way to high and his crit ratio is ridiculous. It is Literally impossible to defeat Saeva with Cyber Hunter. I think that perhaps Revontheus should have his def/res increased for that battle as to disallow Saeva from constantly farming mass amounts of HP off him. many people changed class JUST to defeat Saeva. I must admit it was a fun challenge though. I have not had such a tough time since trying to defeat George Lowe without frost weps as a non var back in Delta.

@Variation I do not think that cyber hunter needs ANY kind of buff. If anything a small nerf on the All-to-spammable posion skill. Not to mention with static charge They can already accumulate mass amounts of mp to keep using poison or massacre. Remember that the buff would also be prone to a huge imbalance in normal pvp with cybers generating almost 300 energy at any one time whilst also dealing unblockable damage. I do not think the cyber should get such a serious buff JUST for a boss.

@Mother1 Beating Saeva as a Ch is actually impossible. If not. I challenge you to try and beat him as a Cyber Hunter. If you succeed Then well done. You would have been the only person to have accomplished that.

@OWA I personally DETEST Missions that force you into battle modes you do not usually partake in, I am a 1v1 player and when i saw that i had to do 7 2v2's i almost cried. PvP missions in general are boring, repetitive and all round cliche. I personally enjoy the "search for an item" missions. Those make you explore more of the map, And rely on other people to help you find the ones you cannot. Not to mention it's alot more interactive and fun. Seems it's still a relatively new concept for ED to have missions like those, i think it should be explored alot more and focused on. Hopefully one day they will make missions where you have to track down and locate hidden NPC's to battle and defeat in order to complete missions. Eg- A level 25 marauder ( perhaps marauder hulks sister in law)

@King Bling I would LOVE to see your achievements in game or a screen shot of you defeating him as a Ch. Message me on Facebook to arrange a Meeting point or to send me a screen shot. Xamurai ED. If what you say is true. Which at this point i believe not even ONE cyber hunter has defeated Saeva. Due to, Like @Mother1 and @Trans said. The energy regain is to low against this particular boss. Please. Show us a screen shot to prove your statement.

martinsen5 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 9:53:53)

Are we ignoring how BHs also have a hard time beating Saeva? Or is it suddenly fine that the only build that actually works for BH, requires stat boosting cores and legend ranks. Because CH is not the only class that struggles with this boss.

Digital X -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 9:54:00)

Guessing Saeve is a single fight? Like no team ups?

Ranloth -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 10:06:24)

CHs outright suck when it comes to EP management. EMP is right to cost EP, especially at its power, but even then, that doesn't justify SC being so weak - in terms of EP return. Mercs may struggle too, when Static Smash is blocked, but when it isn't, the EP return is quite generous for L1-3 Heal, easily, and with a tank build, it'll be 60-80% of your total HP.

If Rank 40-50 CHs can't win, then it's impossible for them. Not even training EP helps, because you cannot keep up with the demand for 80-100+ turns. Training EP means you also lose damage/defenses, so... draw your own conclusions there. It's not even the case of buffing Rev, but the simple fact CHs get the short end of the stick with EP management - just like BMs did before Parasite was buffed, few weeks ago. Anyone claiming it's possible, will require actual proof. From the balance point of view, it's impossible - taking all the data into account, including the anecdotes (from players).

On an unrelated note, 17 wins to go. Woo. <.<

Xamurai -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 10:08:57)

@Digital X you get revontheus as a partner. The NPC

Digital X -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 11:00:13)

Ok thank you.

Xamurai -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 11:07:07)

He is the single worst NPC, We got trolld hard by getting him as a partner. A city guard would have been better.

Digital X -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 11:15:58)

Hmm, damage wise he is bad, or skill wise etc?

Ranloth -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 11:19:42)

3,500 HP, very low defenses, very weak attack. With Saeva's passive BL, Rev gives him a lot of HP back, thus often nullifying the damage Rev deals to him. At the same time, Saeva has high defenses too, as well as attack power. In other words, Rev = free HP for Saeva.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 12:31:39)

@Xam well I gave you two search missions in Valestra's chain so that's two search missions for the one out of your comfort zone PvP mission. It sucks yeah but if you read the mission text there is a method to the madness.

Also it's by no means a "rare" or must hit chain so you can just do like me and put it off until balance changes because there is no way I'm going to finish the 2v2 mission with the ever present dex mage tag team

Noobatron x3000 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 12:46:15)

2v2 I can just about cope with even with the terrible balance as using the "free win" no skill required builds doesn't help you in 2v2 as your largely dependant on your partner .

1v1 however may as well be removed from the game in its current state or be changed to repetitive strength build mode.

Azui -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/19/2014 23:05:45)

finish both mission chain nice reward.

MapCurse -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/22/2014 11:29:36)

How in Habuki challenge, Habuki have the Static Grenade :l

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/22/2014 11:48:26)

NPC's don't care about class and can use any skill. Just the way the game is

GearzHeadz -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/22/2014 13:19:40)

One thing I do like about this release is Habuki. It's cool to see the devs can make wrist blades that are held in the hand, and I'd love to see more as equip ables. Dual swords or even dual knives would be awesome and I'd love to use some myself.

Pemberton -> RE: =ED= July 16th, 2014 - Lionhart Aftermath (7/23/2014 2:21:33)

Where to buy Habuki double blades?
