Ilovesquab -> can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 3:47:46)

if you are not willing to buff cyber or nerf the seeva boss can we have a core where when we hit any npc it does 10x damage ?

1 charge on a core cost 2000 €redits.

So basically we can 2 shot seeva by spending credits.

Can you add the core?

not possible, then what's the point of having an insanely powerful boss?

GearzHeadz -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 4:40:33)

Whats the point in having a boss that 1 class can't beat?

Does anyone from the testing or development team ever talk in the forums ? I am not gonna play till someone respond to cyber Hunters plea for help. Atleast tell us why you won't do something. All I want is a video of some cyber killing seeva that's it. No rank 60 ok. If level 37 tech mage can kill then we can settle for level 40 rank 1 cyber. Till then good bye ed and good bye forums. Have fun with 1 less player. Remember this is all you'r doing.

@ Trizz

The staff didn't test this out correctly cause if they did they would have made so all the classes could beat this boss. So far every class other than cyber hunter has beaten him. Plus many have tried to beat him but they can't. This is do to Cyber hunter having the problem of getting back energy use to the bosses high defenses.

@ OP

While I can agree with your plight I can't support this core. If this core came out it would vastly underpower all NPC's and would make them jokes due to the power of this core. If anything they need to nerf the boss or buff Cyber hunter some how so they can compete.

As for the staff posting here, they do but very rarely. They post more on twitter and facebook TBH.

a one time use core 2000 credits o.o i need to win like a ton of fights for 2k credits just for 1 use.

If there is a core to do more damage on lowe how come this a useless idea. So spending 2k for 1 win is bad ? Do you know how much cash we will spend.

We need to kill seeva like 30 times for the drop thats 60k credits for a cyber .. You still think its funny ?

Mother1 -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 10:09:47)

That was made during a different time period when we had a lot less power compared to now meaning NPC boss like him were much harder Also Icy chill was designed to work only on George lowe where as this core could be used on all NPC's. Even if it is a one time deal it would still underpower bosses.

While a fight isn't suppose to be impossible it isn't suppose to be so easy that you can use any build either a 10X damage core would do just that for some players.

TBH as stated they need to either buff CH so they can beat the boss, nerf the boss to make it easier for CH or buff your partner so he can be more help.

everyone is against buffing a cyber.. They all ts soo friggin OP so dam OP that if we were to get additional 150 energy on static we would own every class.. And seeing the staff havent done anything to help cybers and considering there are so few cybers that none have even voiced this issue.. Its apparent ppl like me have to throw some ideas out there to help ourselves if no one will..

Eventually more ppl like me will get fed up and leave cause you cant play a game where a problem isnt being looked into, art seems a priority.

Bagofbricks -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 10:39:22)

Really cybers aren't that bad. Other than the lion heart boss they can kill anything else. I think everyone wants the boss to be changed in a way that won't compromise its difficulty, but won't completely lock a class out of being able to beat it.

As for art being a priority, artists do art. coders do coding. artists pumping out art =/= them ignoring other aspects.

Ilovesquab -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 11:10:41)

so apparently someone in the balance department is sleeping his arse off for three whole weeks i suppose.

Mother1 -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 11:47:50)

@ Ilovesquab

There are only 2 people who do coding where as there are many artists. Having 2 people (which was originally only one) doing all the coding, Balancing, Etc is a lot and unlike Art these updates need to be tested and made sure they work correctly.

Something things slip through the crack in testing, in this case Cyber hunters being able to beat this boss. These things do happen, and it wasn't found out until sometime later. While I feel it is wrong that the staff didn't address this yet (we don't know if this isn't the case since they don't tell us everything right away) we can't say they aren't doing something about it either.

I Underlord I -> RE: can we get a new core please for npc? (7/25/2014 19:14:35)

I would hope that the staff are working on ensuring that every class can readily dispatch Saeva, provided they are at a high enough level. As Mother1 said, coding and balance is that much more difficult and time-consuming resultant of the number of developers who are involved; while acknowledgement would be nice, it is unlikely that this problem will not be addressed in the near (or perhaps distant) future.

On a related note, are we now disregarding the fact that Bounty Hunters have an insanely difficult time beating Saeva? In that possessing legendary ranks, at least three temporary skill-boosting passive cores, and extreme luck, as well as abusing one certain build, are all requisites to doing as much.
Lionhart most certainly needs a change so Cyber Hunters are able to defeat him, but that does not mean that Bounty Hunters (and to a lesser extent, Mercenaries) should be ignored solely because a small group of the latter class and an even smaller number of the former have succeeded.

Regardless, a boss's ludicrous power implying difficulties he poses for any given class is not a good reason to buff that class, or to release a ridiculously overpriced and overpowered core that defeats the basis of a boss.
