ambien -> what is going to happen (8/13/2014 16:17:43)

what is going to happen when and if exile wins again ( the great war ) j/k. is the devs just going to give us the legion the next war ( here it is ) . in the omega phase ppl have said stats do not matter no more , critz are carzy, damage insane, health pts are off the wall and well you know the rest.

does it really matter any more. the game is still hack an slash now that is it. who every hits the hardest wins, support stats well they are shot. 17 mage support vs a 45, 56, or even 100 support the mage goes 1st. could some one please explain that one. SUPPORT SAYS INCREASES 1ST STRIKE CHANCE right that is a j/k.

any way my thoughts on this very sore topic

always the syfy

For the war sake it can go either way seeing as for the longest Exile has been up and legion has been getting mostly all the war rallies.

However on that other part I can agree with you. Thanks to all the nerfs, the flawed passive to active change, and finally the buffs to certain skills all I see mostly are high strength strike builds. With the change to energy parasite making it do 85% damage now I see focus 4-5 Blood mages running around with almost the same build. Sometimes I win sometimes I don't, but yeah most of the thinking builds got nerfed in favor of the all mighty strike build.

Heck I remember when first strike meant something for most but now it doesn't anymore.

The game is in serious need of balance changes that are actually thought through and not left with gaping hole flaws like the passive to active one did with energy stress.

Please observe the rules regarding constructive criticism (quoted below for reference) when making feedback threads. As this thread fails to satisfy these stipulations, I am locking the thread.

quote:

Constructive Criticism

  • What is it?
Constructive criticism is being able to process and offer your own thoughts and opinions in order to give courteous and friendly feedback. This is done by explaining what you like and dislike, while at the same time providing feedback that is useful. This is what separates constructive feedback from ranting/complaining and flaming.

  • Does it help? How?
Yes! Constructive criticism helps because not only are you giving feedback about what you don't like about a quest/event, but you're also giving feedback about what you DID like in the quest. Feedback could include on such topics as statistics, more dialogue, more explanatory cutscenes, more fights - everything that quests or events would normally include. This gives the game staff a better idea on future improvements.

  • Example of Constructive Criticism:
"I didn't partularly like this war because it felt too empty. To have made it better, I think the staff could have had a 50% cutscene to unlock rather than just a shop to progress the storyline. As it was, I personally was a little dissapointed that this war felt more rushed than previous wars, however I do understand that the staff had a lot on their plate when making this release.
That said, I greatly enjoyed the boss fight, the animations and art fit perfectly with the song that was playing in the background. So while not one of the best wars DF have done, I still enjoyed it. Thank you, DF staff!"

  • Example of Unconstructive Criticism:
"I didn't like this war at all. What were the staff thinking? The items in the shop were ugly, overpriced and were bugged!! No cutscene? That was never done before and it is not how it should be done ever. Seriously, doesn't the staff ever listen to us?! The boss fight was too hard and took forever to beat :( And there was no sound. I dont think the staff even care anymore. Best war ever /sarcasm I hate this game D:<!"
