EE was pretty Op when if first came out having Earthquakes and natures gift making it hard to kill

Am I the only one that thinks Nature's Gift is a pretty inefficient card? It's just a Shatter waiting to happen and the 1,000 HP barely makes a difference end game. I honestly can't think of one situation where it's saved me a duel.

Its useful if you hold it in your hand till the perfect situation when done right it'll give you another chance to draw and attack which is pretty useful and if you can pull off the tree of life natures gift combo to go back to full health its useful.


I just got an idea of something fun to do using OS characters several of my friends say I write pretty decent fight scenes and thought about writing fights using two OS characters going head to head would anyone like to read anything like this? First fight would be Aberant the Exiled vs ????

I think Nature's Gift is awful, I'd much rather spend 1 more energy for a Stone Wall than something only playable once in a blue moon. A "Tree of Life + Nature's Gift combo" is 9 wasted energy that Earth characters can put to so much better use.

EDIT: Just remembered Nature's Gift says it costs 5 but actually costs 4 (been a while since I've played the card), but it's still really bad since your opponent can stall and put you out 4 energy pretty easily.

Gotta work with what you have phoenix might not be the best cards but if you have in your deck you either discard or find a use for them tree of life wouldn't be so bad if you could place shields after using it.

True, but Earth characters can eat up a lot of their energy with Stone Walls/Mountain Strikes/Earthquakes/Petrifies, so there's really very little reason to throw away energy on cards that gain you nothing long term.

They most likely would of had other cards to make them better but eh you know plus they need those two cards to make a full CC pack for earth.

Nature's Gift is pretty scary to me, since it's a bad psychological effect when the opponent takes you down to just a little over 1000, then the fairies come and take away 1000.

Yes, that's a pretty good idea.

First fight: Abberant vs Pikemen. The Pikemen are trying to catch Abberant.

Maybe Abberant, after breaking out of the dungeon, attacks the asylum to get recruits and runs into Resonance in the process?

Abberant is already in the asylum he was planned to be part of the asylum quest chain but OS never got a back story so they never made it in game canon.

The asylum is the place that made all the REV clones they experment on the creature/thing REV has a lot of the unreleased characters on his twitpic for the Asylum characters.

Finally working on training my YG up to a Dark Griffon! He's hard to lvl for a fire character though. Too many weak cards cluttering his deck. Oh well.

spam fire whirl young griffon isn't bad incinerates. Can some beat my challenge already I edited about a month ago its crazy easy to do now.
