the battle gear that i have mentioned includes only staff, club, and blade. the bots was included at this wiki definition of black abyss battle gear http://epicduelwiki.com/w/Black_Abyss_Battlegear_P, i know that it was released for varium, but the hatchling rush cores and weapons was released for free during the first event and the bots later. after this event all others cores released was for varium. i am not asking to give everything for free, just only try show that the f2p players is currently stucked in abyss event

There have been no changes to the Tiered Influence Model, so only the winner will get the item in the Chest. Trizz just derped on that one. Sorry guys!
However, I cannot say (because I don't know) what Armor will be there exactly, and whether other version(s) will be purchasable.

I have to ask though are the aux's and side arms a promo as well? Or are they just items that can be brought in game for all? From what I read in the notes there is no mention of this being a promo like they did with the robot and sidearms.

In-game items. They were made for the sake of having a matching set, and will be available for everyone.
On that note, I really wanna see how the entire set would look with the Pirate Armor.

@Trans: Alright, that's what I thought to be honest which is why I posted. However, it would've made things a lot easier if Nightwraith simply stated that in the design notes post because his statement on the armor was rather ambiguous. I hope they make at least some type of version of that armor purchasable(I know you have no control over that) because it's a very decent armor. I'm not gonna keep my hopes up on this one sadly, I'll just wait and see what the developers have in store for us.

There are 2 pirate themed armors the naval and the captain but at the end we have to wait and see if both will be ingame or 1 ingame and the other as a chest prize.

I have 40 spaces without use but it will come in handy for sure and mostly for other players without extra spaces.

Was playing through the missions until I got to the one that wants you to kill kartherax.
My main problem with this is how useless the gamma guard is in this fight—his skills that use energy do tiny damage, while his strike does 50 damage at best. He's just a punching sack for kartherax to play with, until he dies (which is very quickly) and then you bear the brunt of the damage.

Gamma Guard didn't die for me, was at 515 HP when I killed Karthy. I found him a lot more useful than Rev, despite the level difference.

For those who finished the missions, especially the ending - there is more planned in the future in regards to that. [;)]

@Bionic Bear: What level are you? I found the boss fights very easy, it was nowhere near the difficulty of Saeva Lionhart. I don't like how they didn't give the new bosses reroute because not every class can magically generate loads of energy. This will make a difference for lower levels trying to kill him if they aren't a TM/TLM/CH.

Character is level 31, TLM.
Though I have defeated the NPC bosses such as tuna, caden, some others. Soon as gamma guard dies, though, I can't heal loop fast enough to survive. Most I've taken him down to is 1,857 health.

Well, many thanks to Variation, because his build worked for both of the bosses—I beat them no problem! Huzzah!
I be looking forward to the war, now, that starts in an hour.
As for Shoggoth's note, it sounds like we have another TLaPD event for next year to await.

Oh yeah, I was fighting a TM, and the overlaod animation is actually a lightning bolt, instead of whatever it was before.

Well then, useless war, looks like I can't get that armor since the shells and bombs to get influence costs VARIUM. how crap.

And yes I do have Varium, but it's useless to waste all my varium just to get 1 piece of armor, credits and some other random stuff.

There's no need to use varium to reach the top tiers. I have reached 10k influence without varium in the previous wars. I save bombs and keep using one once I reach 10 again. War Rallies are a good chance in this war to get to the highest tier.

What are war rallies, I only know they don't come often, how am i supposed to get the top tier reward?

War rallies boost the power bombs and super bombs for the side that is losing.

meaning that when one is active you can gain more influence than you could if one isn't active.

As for when they come they are 100% random for the losing side.
