Come on guys, this'll put the "EPIC" in Epic Duel. With the introduction of mech game play. it'll bring in new players and maybe even some old + more fun of another battle mode (with mechs). These mechs can also be used as vehicles and also add a neat touch of sci-fi theme to the game.

It would be pointless to merge together two completely different games run by different engines and with different people who both create and play the games.

Don't really see how this is even possible and the last thing we need is another battle mode with it's own problems.

Not supported and as Magician said, Artix Entertainment already has a game for what you are looking for called 'MechQuest'.

It's not a bad game and easy to get the hang of

It wouldn't go without remaking the entire game from scratch, since it'd require balancing, new gameplay entirely, etc. MechQuest serves the purpose, and we won't be mixing up two games in terms of gameplay.

We can already turn into robots using Lionhart, Kartherax, Botanical etc.

And there are already vehicles that morph you into robots like Blood Hawk and Yeti.

2 major difference between my ideas and mech quest.....first off what i had in mind is more like a tank mech not a humanoid (four legs, not two) second u dont PVP in mech quest BIG DIFFERENCE.
This will basically be like juggernaut (having to buy a silver skull card to do juggernauts) except you'll have to buy your tank mechs

So you're introducing me to a game that has no PVPing whatsoever and as a side-note is completely and utterly tedious

The point remains that the two games are separate, and we won't be bringing mechas to ED, which would require a lot of balancing, take extremely long time to code (years if you still want any releases), and there aren't enough players to even fill up the mode. It would take up time from actual development, which is something no one wants - especially when the "new mode" would be exclusive to a specific group of players.
You have mechas in MechQuest, and it will remain this way. ED is primarily PvP game, and not focused on mechas as much as MQ is. Whether you find MQ tedious or not, it doesn't change the fact we already have a mecha-themed game.

Many suggestions are often described in a similar way. There's little reason to spend time developing a fourth mode, when the current three aren't balanced and Juggernaut is underused due to balance issues. Adding fourth one would do more harm than good - similar to 3 classes being easier to balance than the current 6.

Put it this way: it's extremely unlikely to happen as an idea, and even more so due to having MQ filling that niche, and all the balance and programming associated with it... yeah.

As we have seen already, we can't just keep adding new battle mechanics that no one can keep up with. It would be more logical to fix the ones we have right now.

I'm pretty sure I said nothing about incorporating MechQuest into AQWorlds..... And I fully understand that it's not magic...please read post carefully before posting just to post.


And in response to Dual Thrusters, I never said that I expected them to take action on it now, it's a suggestion,a suggestion to bring more players into the game, not a schedule or deadline.

Well, if you didn't mean that, it'll be very useful if you clarified what you did mean. What exactly does mech gameplay involve - just fancy new animations? Different skills (i.e. Whole new classes?) Are they a titan fight mode like in DF? It's difficult to read the original post carefully when there is virtually no significant information there.

Well. you know, you could've just asked .

What I'm introducing here is basically tank gameplay (such as the exile and legion tanks) that will not only introduce them as vehicles, but also enable you to use them in the frontlines (battle) as you would do in an actual, real-life war. The reason I said mechs instead of tanks was because I didn't just mean regular tanks, but seasonal/themed tanks and tanks with a futuristic element to them, as well.

I was also thinking that the reward for these battles would be somewhere in the range between 100-200 credits per battle

To be honest the small Epic duel staff has more important things they need to be doing. One of which is balancing the different battle modes they already have. Adding another battle mode would not only add more balance problems to their plate, but it will also cut the already small player pool even smaller due to people going to the other battle mode.

In other words not supported.

Another thing that came to mind I was thinking that there could be a specific time range in which at a certain hour during the day, the battle mode will be available for people to use.
