We should of the power to remove cores on an item; excluding items with a pre-implemented core and excluding robots.

Also, there should be a price to remove it, such as half the original price of the core using either credits or varium.

You have prob noticed the ridiculous amount of inflation going on in ed.

This is why they made legendary ranks. This is why you need money to retrain your weapons/skilltree and this is also why you cant remove cores.

As you have probably noticed too that EVERYTHING is available for credits.
And some may argue that missions and winning a battle give more credits than ever before. (used to be 32 for winning a battle)

But why? Well the answer is quiet simple. Think of what would be the opposite of inflation. Deflation.

It means that players earning credits would be more difficult as time goes on e.g. winning a battle would slightly give less credits with each month. (So 1 credit would become more valuable than before.)

With players earining less credits this would mean that the prices of everything would be lowered. Encouraging players to SAVE credits instead of SPENDING THEM.
Why is this a bad thing? Simply because it wouldnt motivate people to play.

Why is inflation a good thing?

Because it motivates people to play. And saving up becomes less of an issue. E.g. before if you had saved up 100k credits you were considered quiet rich but now the prices of everything have almost went up 2x.
I remember the best non varium armor back in the day was at Noami and costed like 20k credits. Now at level cap it would cost around 30k or even 40k.

Since saving you cant save up as efficiently and you are almost always broke. Then this makes you play to get that seasonal rare gear. And you know that if you dont get the gear then you will be at a disadvantage. So this motivates the players to be a way more active.
