Currently they do cost 495 varium for 10 slots. Should be replaced with a smaller package (micro payment) of 5 slots that does cost 250 varium as not everyone wants to buy 10 slots or is missing a few coins for it. So if someone wants to buy 10 slots he still can do by buying 2x a 5 slot package for 500 varium totally.
