Mysteria Malignant is, somewhat, just an excuse to make an A&R and thus the basic plot is to fight others to win the tournament. Though honestly if you guys know anything by now, its that I like tweests and hiding stuff. Besides that, you're basically allowed to make whatever character you want as long as you can explain it to me.

Oh, and I'm perfectly open to questions. Its what I feed on to survive. By the way, some super important information about the tournament: There are Necromancers, Healers and Mages kept nearby to try saving any fatally wounded combatants. In addition, killing your competition outside of battle would be an instant disqualification and if you're late for a match you automatically lose. Furthermore, you'll likely only fight the same person once, so don't bother personally tailoring your character to beat someone else. You probably won't even fight them anyways.

How many characters do you plan on taking in to the game? I may join it.

Eight at most, and only one character per person.

What kind of skills and powers can a character have, and how many at max? And is there any limit to race, as long as it isn't something like an uncorn that shoots rainbow lasers from the eyes?
Could an emberwing increase the temperature of the wings and then increase the speed of regeneration from the heat of them? And how do gods choose who they bless?

As long as you're not godlike (as in effortlessly playing with reality like one does with putty), anything is allowed. However it should be noted Humans and Dragons (along with cats/dogs/birds/etc) are the only natural species. Everything else, like Doppelgangers or Vampires for example, are created or modified entities. Oh, and no legit Angels or Demons either. So, yeah, do whatever you want.

No, it has to be fire from other people. As to how they choose, it depends on the God in question. The Mad Trickster likes having interesting servants, while the Metal Inventor picks people interested in science! Not all Gods recruit servants however, such as The Opener of Paths and Drummer of Lightning. In general they recruit people that resonate with their own beliefs, so there wouldn't be cowardly Rockbringers or sadistic Curebringers in their Gods' employ. Former servants perhaps, but not ones still actively serving them.

Could you tell me about the East? I remember there's an Imperial Palace with an Emperor. The current one is still a minor so there's a Regent who is ruling in their place until he comes of age. There's a Garden where the worst criminals or eldritch abominations are imprisoned as petrified statues because they couldn't be killed. The Emperor is the one who turns them to stone and also has a bond with Dragons.

So I'd like to know what their stance is on artificial life and romance. I'd also like to know what sort of security measures they have in the Palace and what the Royal Family does. I take it they govern cities.

This'll pretty much be focused exclusively on the Western Continent. Though the Eastern Continent only uses words like "Human" or "Dragon" as simple descriptors, believing all life to be equal. They're also far more accepting of romance and the practice of Necromancy. The Palace security measures basically comes down to lots of magic, and at the very least the Royal Family makes sure their cities are behaving.

The Petrification is tied to their bloodline, so should there be no biological successors when the ruler dies the curse breaks. Dragons aren't very fond of the Royal Family due to the number of dragons being a part of that "Garden". Oh, and they have a different language from the West. That and a male-dominated society. They're far more creative than the West, can actually read & write, as well as have a higher magic-using population.

Now

This obviously isn't going anywhere, so sorry Frost Moglin and Daimyo. Mysteria Malignant is cancelled.
