I am sure I am not the only one who has come across this problem.

The problem is getting so bad, that some players (with no respect for others) continuously leave 2v2 matches whenever something goes against them. An example is their robot gets blocked first move and the refresh. This is so disgusting and is getting out of hand.

Here is my proposed solution (and I recommend that both are implemented togather):

1)Leaving player Looses the amount of credits they would have gained if the lost the match.

2)In addition, for loosing the match the remaining player gains double credits/exp (their own credits and exp and also the credits and exp of team leaver).

I would suggest that both these ideas would need to be implemented together. This is because there are two problems here. First problem is that the leaver has no respect for other players and abuses the fact that currently there is not much cost to leaving the match. Solution 1 enforces a penalty for leaving the match and therefore making the leaving option a little more harder. Secondly, once a player leaves, the team player that they leave behind has to suffer the inevitable loss. In addition to this, the experience is very frustrating for the victim. Solution 2 proposes to solve this issue by somewhat making up for such events. (I say somewhat, because a loss to the win/death ratio is unavoidable; however getting double credits/exp seams a reasonable compensation).

I would support this if the Game could separate the players who actually run from those who get disconnected by the sever itself but sadly it doesn't do that. I could also support this if it was 100% at stopping runners but sadly this isn't the case either.

The game already kicks players from the game due to server lag and those players who get kicked due to no fault of their own already rage due to the fact that they not only got and unjust lost but don't receive any rewards. At least the player being left alone be it runner or unjust disconnect get rewards. Image the person's face when they come back to find out that they not only got an unfair loss, but lost some of their credits due to the system deciding to screw them over.

Buffing the punishment isn't going to stop runners. If anything it will discourage players from playing this battle mode due to them having to not only worry about getting a loss, but also losing the credits.

Overall Not supported.

By server lag do you mean when it says, match failed to start?

You don't support it overall but you didn't give any reason for not supporting suggestion 2? Do you fine any flaws with that suggestion? If yes can it be improved?

At least the player who is left alone (by a runner or disconnect) can be compensated. This will not affect a disconnected player in any way, and I don't seen any reason for this to be considered unfair. Next time it could be the disconnected player who gets left lone.

Battle failed to started doesn't harm the person who doesn't make it into the fight. It only sends them back to where they were before the match started. No lost is given here so battle failed to start hurts the player who made it into battle that didn't get their partner.

By server lag I mean the server itself is causing players to move slowly, or in some cases kick player out of epic duel with the connection lost banner. This can happen without the player having a bad computer or bad internet connection. Has happened to me quite a few times and it has happened to many others who have played.

Then there are system bugs that can kick you. Many players in the past have gotten the infamous "you are kicked from Epic duel" Banner due to know fault of their own and any time a bug like this happens the players would be at the mercy of the system which isn't fair either.

On suggestion 2 that does sound like a decent idea seeing as the person who does get left alone gets double rewards. however, this should only apply if the player who has a disconnecting partner loses. I say this because at the lower levels depending on the situation two players can still lose to one due to them being disadvantaged against that player in two vs 2.

Example being I am a high dex build (this build is very common) and my opponents have only physical weapons and skills that can barely harm me. I have done this before with my dex build TM alt when my partner sometimes get disconnected, and in these cases compensation isn't needed because you won anyways.

Sorry for not explaining my thoughts on the second suggestion.

Ok thanks for clarifying the server lag/battle failed to start.

Regarding getting double xp/credits if the partner leaves, of-course that only has to apply if the player looses. I must not have made it clear enough.

Actually I do not see a problem with them. The chance of you being left alone is 1/3.
Unless you are on the losing side it is a free win right.
And then you just need the 2nd suggestion as mother said because you get touble credits and xp if you loose.

So supported for suggestion NR2.

I support then 2nd one. You shouldn't lose credits for running, especially since a lot of people get dcd
