After a long time i'm feeling this THRILL! :D Hope it does not turn out to be a downer!

Part 1 will be alignment specific. You will see the story from your side's point of view. Alignment specific missions.

For the Alpha Gear, let me clarify one thing. It's not bringing the exact item back - the winner gets renamed Alpha Gear upgraded to their level, so it will likely be called "Titan's Alpha <<weapon>>" instead of sharing the name with the original weapons. Preserving the rarity for the actual Alpha players.
Balance changes have also been confirmed for today's release, based on Titan's tweet. Next week will be Part 2 Missions (and possible supplementary chain), as well as the new promo and cores.

If you guys have any questions regarding the Event, just ask. We're also answering them on Twitter, whether it's directly tweeted at us or just a tweet with "#FrozenFury" hashtag.

@Comical I think the normal rule for AE games was 7PM EST but ED has been pretty random with it's release times some coming before noon so it really is Ready O'clock.

I'll keep an ear open to my twitter so that when the dev's start talking about rolling out the update I can tell you guys

Hmmmm... Feels like the old days when we/i used to wait for the update till 2 AM and stuff :D

Excited about the gift system. Really wishing it's something good.

Just wondering is this gift sys like permanent or just for Christmas??

It sounds like it is just for Christmas kinda like how TF2 does gift giving for christmas.

I'm sure if we like it enough and get enough people wanting it to stay we could convince them to keep it year round in some form. I like the idea of making it part of the faction system to reward loyalty but it's my idea so of course I like it [:D]


EDIT: I got some screen shots from charfade to show how the gift giving system works on the receiving end.

All other houses are locked. You won't be able to enter in.

I've only kept one house open for anyone to visit it - you can set houses' privacy to open (to everyone), friends (people on your buddy list), and private (only you).

When you go to the house icon, just enter Trans' name and you can go to his house.

Click the house icon and where it gives you a search bar type Trans. you should only be given one option for a house to go to but expect lag as a lot of people will be going there to get our gifts

Click the House button, type my character name (Trans), and it will give you an option to enter my only open house - all the way at the bottom. Expect a LOT of players there though, or rather, lag. :p
