Anyone who plays 2v2 gets those partners who give orders, sometimes every turn. How do you feel about them? Do you do as they say? Do you ignore them? Are you one of these people? If so, how do you react to people who ignore your orders? As a fairly new player, I tend to go ahead and do as they ask. Sometimes even when their ideas sound insane. (Like telling you to use your rank-2 Overload on someone who just put up a powerful energy shield.) I generally ignore them only when: 1. They were too slow and I've already clicked. (Or the move is impossible for various reasons) 2. I think I have a better attack move than the one they suggest 3. I think I really need to heal or get energy, and their attack suggestion doesn't sound effective enough to die for. 4. Following their stupid orders has led to disaster in previous recent fights. In my experience, most of the people giving orders act really baffled or angry if you don't do as they tell you. XD

Depends on my partner and the situation. If I get someone I know has more experience than me or has an good idea than I listen to them. Sometimes I listen to them even if I don't know them. Other times I will ignore them if I can see the idea will be disastrous or is just plain dumb.

Unless people know their partner or have faced them before and know they're skilled, some of them have to give orders because they can't see their 2v2 W - L. 2v2 W - L doesn't tell the entire story, but it does show their w:l ratio and win %. As we can see from the history in this game some of the most skilled 2v2 players have extremely good 2v2 win percentages (75%+). Skilled 2v2 players aren't just gonna assume their partner is skilled because their partner is a high level because many high levels are bad at the game. Also players such as myself(92.6% 2v2), ConQrR(75% 2v2), and PRIMAL ASSASSIN(75.8% 2v2) put a lot of work into our high 2v2 win percentages, so it's a natural reaction for skilled 2v2 players to tell their partners what they see from experience is the best move for them to do at that moment. I don't really like giving orders to someone who may or may not be good, but skilled 2v2 players cannot just assume the best case for their partner.

Sometimes it is mandatory, I usually give not "orders" but directions. It's team battle, if we do not focus on one opponent we will lose, but direct orders every turn, that's not good. unless your partner is very low level.

I try to avoid 2v2 because I'm a 1v1 kind of guy but some missions force me into 2v2 and in those cases I try to listen to my partner unless they sound like they are going for the lose in which case I ignore them and do what I think is best

The main objective of a PVP game is to win. Therefore players who mainly play 2vs2 have a high need of knowing how good their partner is. The most simply way of previously judging if a player is a reliable partner or not was by looking at their win ratio. This tells the 2vs2 players how good their partner is in general situations. If his 1vs1 ratio is somewhat good, but 2vs2 is bad. Then it comes to the conclusion that perhaps his partner is an aggressive player and will make rash decisions without thinking of the entire battle from different players perspectives. A good 2vs2 player doesn't only think of what he will do, but also predict what both of his opponents will do as well as what his partner will do. However with the removal of win ratio's heavily effected 2vs2 players as they can no longer tell their partner's general skill or play style with a quick glance. As a result of not being able to see your team mates win ratio unless you know them, you have to assume they are bad at 2vs2 or even the game as a whole, as anyone who plays to win will do everything in their power to win. Even if it results with them trying to manipulate their partners moves.

I typically listen to them if i can tell they know what they are doing. If they sound foolish i ignore them. Especially love when they do like 50 damage to a guy on their first move then keep telling you "kill" when its your turn. Sure ill just do 700 damage real quick bud

i play a lot of 2v2 and i personally don't like ppl telling me what to do….nor do i like having a player ask me what to do every time it is their turn….part of the fun of the game is to figure out the best move…no matter what has been dealt to you by your partner or the opposing team….i don't mind helping when asked….but not every move…and sometimes i take advice from my partner if i see their skill set and see that i can help set them up for a good move on the next round or two. ~mira

Put a question mark at the end of every sentence: "use malf" "noob don't tell me what to do" "use malf?" "oh sure! that's a smart idea! [:D]"

I normally don't mind them because they simply want to win and probably have had bad experiences where their previous allies were complete scrubs who didn't know how to play the game at all. Sometimes their decisions are good and sometimes not. I just play the way I do and not really listen to them, and in most cases I was planning on doing what they were going to tell me anyways.

When it's a good idea I go ahead with it, but when they tell me to use my level 1 mark of blood or something similar, then no.

I listen to any partner using the Assault Bot or Botanical Borg but definitely find myself having to command players with the Infernal Android, Blood Hawk or Kartrex's Darkspawn robots (after we inevitably lose the battle I advise them to buy a better bot). The rest depends.

Jop: Sometimes they dont even check your Skill Tree and assume that your mark of blood is lvl 7+, Just Like when they say MULTI and You dont even have it.

how i proceed: the guy gives a order that is the obvious move, i answer: - thanks capt obvious.. the guy gives a order stupid: -shut up kid people who gives orders always assume that you are a noob, because if he assume that you know how to play, him will say the move that will do instead an order. for exemple: in some 2v2 match the your target have low hp and you partner have mana enough for use the bezerker maxed with high str: if he assume that you is a noob: -force/use a shield/heal etc.. (he will say the move/order that think you are noob enough to don't see for youself) if he assume that you are smart: -ill use zerker, bezerker next turn, or even only "i zerker"

Yep I use question marks too; works better :) But I don't like to see it as giving orders. Its a 2v2 match - which means team match. A successful team requires teamwork. Teamwork requires, apart from other things: talking/discussing/advising on/about best move. Therefore I honestly don't see why some people get so agitated about it - I mean if you cant work as a team why are you playing 2v2? So when I give my opinion on the best move, it is for the benefit of the team and not me doubting the players ability or anything. I don't expect them to follow it without thinking about it, just like in any other team situation. They may have a better move - in which I case i sometimes say "or that :)" - if I feel that move was good too. At the same time sometimes I like them to listen to me if I feel I know whats going on and they feel lost. However sometimes I feel that some players do a diff move just because they are being ADVISED (remember not ordered) on a move - completely neglecting that it is an integral part of any successful team. When someone is advising me on moves, as I would expect them to when I advice, I think about the the best move. If that was the best move I go with it. If not I go for the best move and tell + explain them why I chose that move over theirs; leading to a discussion which would hopefully lead to both team members learning exp. I have no say on this because im a backseat driver most times in 2v2, ill be honest hahaha. But more times than not it is useful to be one as opposed to say nothing so you can formulate a strategy together.
