I can understand if a low level goes first, given that hes lvl 38 or what not, but it seems as if everytime I fight a low ranker (lvl 40) hes going first unless I have 70 higher support. And I actually tested this

I did 500 matches over a 2 day span and what I noticed is that 422 of the times I faced someone with a lower rank than mine. I placed my support at 60, and out of those 422 matches there were only 5 matches where someone had higher support than me, they were support merc.

The other 417 had lower support, 45+14 was the closest to my 60 support +6 (support aux core) and +2 (endless core) giving me 68 total.

The problem is though that out of the 417 matches, I only went first 20 times. Listen I understand low levels need a handicap, but most of the time I had +20 higher support than low rankers and theyre going first and it's absurd to be penalized against someone your own level just because you decided to take the initiative and rank up faster. W

Yes, I understand that higher support only grants you the CHANCE of going first but im pretty sure that chance should be more than going first 20 times out of 417 matches.

My suggestion: Support is already a weak stat simply because the other stats have more uses towards Offense. What I suggest is making the "First turn" benefit of Support absolute. I suggest that having higher support automatically gives you a first turn. Either that or at least raise the CHANCE players can go first for having more support

I don't know exactly, but I don't think that ranks equate in the same way to levels in terms of going first. If it is though, it definitely needs to get fixed.

I would definitely appreciate t if it gets looked into and fixed. Lvl 40s vs Lvl 40 is still "anyones game" no matter what the rank.

little question, can a rank uhh 5 battle a rank 50 in 1v1? what is the maximum gap.

As far as I know, there has been no change to the 1st turn calculation. There is also nothing in the calculation that puts higher ranked level 40 players at a disadvantage.

So I am unsure how you came up with those figures...

The calculation is the way you want it and personally I am not seeing the discrepancy you are highlighting... I am rank 3 and rank 40+ often go 1st with comparable support.

I did some checking, the calculation hasn't been changed

Goony that is not true because, I was using 45 support and an 18 support merc lvl 40 rank 44 started, not only that, when I was having 45+14, 37 support started first and is still going on, this is a battle in which if you dont go first you lose....so look into it and fix it.

If the calculation hasn't been changed then there is a bug going around. I noticed that when I lower my support to 37 I tend to go first MORE than when I have 60 support

One or two instances isn't enough to justify it - make sure this happens 100+ times out of maybe 125 or so battles because everyone gets unlucky here and there.

The first strike was always weird for me. Yesterday a person with like 20 less support and around 2 higher levels went first. Like wat.

You guyz are definately overexagerating. As a rank 9 I have had much higher ranks go first with lower support. And quite often at that.

If anything they need to add ranks to the first turn calculation. It seems through goonys research that surprisingly ranks do not have a say in determining first turn. Its only logical and fair.

I believe higher supp should = go 1st always, except in level difference, where 1 level difference = 4 point of support. So for example. lvl 35 (50 supp) vs level 36 (52 supp). 36 is 1 level higher than 35, therefore 35 is counted as having 50 + 4 supp = 54 > 52, therefore he starts 1st.

incase of both having same supp, + same level, it should go by luck.

I think the current first start system needs a complete rework, here is my formula that is more so based on logicalness. Some body with more experience in combat and dexterity/agility would obviously be quicker to go first over their opponent so, 50% + (YourExperience - EnemyExperience) x 0.0009 + (YourDexterity - EnemyDexterity) x 1.2 sounds fair enough yes?
