This isn't happening, having 45 support, a 20 support starting first for like 3 times in a row, and a 37 support starting constantly like over 50+ battles is totally ridiculous leading to in-numerous amount of loses which I don't want. 2vs2 is broken for high ranks and jugg for all classes except for bm, which is no reason to change to bm.

I've been consistently going first regardless of level. Had a few times where I questioned the RNG, but it seems find to me.

EDIT - For clarification, my support is typically 15-20 higher than my opponent.

@OP:

When your level is higher than the lvl of the opponent, your opponent has more chances to start first.
Level is a factor.
Support is a factor.

Support factor is given better chances. In many times higher levels (3 or 4 or even 5 levels higher) start first.
Level factor should considered because, player with higher level has many more advantages.

I think there should be more factors, based on weapons, skills, hp, energy and etc... because starting first is a great advantage, and might decide who the winner is.

this is no level factor im talkign bout lvl 40 each, i have 45 support then how can a 20 support start first tht too 3 times i fight him in a row, and even 37support starts first.

Lord Machaar -> RE: More Supp = More Chances For First Strike (12/28/2014 10:58:13)

The level factor was meant for the previous post. He mentioned level.

Starting first is a chance like any other "Lucky" thing on ED, having more dexterity doesn't me you will always block, for defelct, crit... etc...

I totally agree with you, Logic in ED omega is not respected. Luck is beyond an important factor in ED Omega it has become more than that.

The berserker killer -> RE: More Supp = More Chances For First Strike (12/28/2014 11:02:22)

500 matches with <20 support than my opponents. They went first more than half of the time and the one thing they had in common was a lower rank. I understand that more support gives you a chance to go first and that lower lvls/ranks need to go first b/c theyre weaker but theyre going first nearly ALL the time.

I don't mean to whine but in a game where First Turn basically grants someone momentum and could potentially grant that someone the win.... you can't give away first turn so lightly.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: More Supp = More Chances For First Strike (12/28/2014 16:00:05)

I don't remember the exact percentages, but about 1-2 more support than your opponent levels out having about 1 level advantage over them.

Also base crit chance is 4%, and every 7 more support you have than your opponent you get +1% crit chance. So if you have 45 support and they have 17, you have 28 more, which is an 8% crit chance.

The Jop -> RE: More Supp = More Chances For First Strike (12/28/2014 16:06:47)

It just gives you a higher chance to go first. Guaranteeing it would be broken, just like if you blocked/deflected a certain percent of the time. You're not going to always go first with higher support and the same/lower level, especially if you only test it a few times.

Thylek Shran -> RE: More Supp = More Chances For First Strike (12/28/2014 20:20:47)

Support is to weak for other classes than merc that the first turn bonus would be a big bonus.
Lower level characters have a too big chance to go first. Just what is the point of having a level
system where higher characters are more powerfull than lower characters when this does get
softened by the first turn bonus for lower level characters ?
So it would be good if the first turn bonus could increase more than now with support as support
is still the weakest stat right now for non-mercs.
