Just turned 38, and my 1st battle.. what in the actual world.... 38 vs a rank 59 lvl40 person. like just tell me. What am I supposed to do? what? why?

The pairing system in ED is a bit wierd. it will pair you up with anyone who is around 4 levels of your current levels, and from what you are saying then the matching system does not take ranks into account, as a level 22 i get paired with 24 or 26 many times and as i level up more and more the problem is geting worse and worse :/

Most people at 38 or 39 go to 2v2 or NPC until they hit 40, either that or they use a fast wins build to get them through battles as fast as possible. I hope that this helps!

Level 40's playing range some time ago was cut from 35-40 to 38-40. This means the moment you become level 38 you are in their level range so you can get level 40's.

^ Well, that must be for 1v1 only, because as soon as I hit 36, I found myself constantly in fights with three 40s..

@ inkwolf Correct, because in 2 vs 2 36+ is the min level to fight level 40's is 36.

I made a promise with my self, never play 2vs2 again. Second promise, I will reach 38 in few hours, don't play 1vs1 until you reach lvl 40. Third one, don't play juggernaut until it's fixed. To be honest with you, this is all due to the lack of players, if ED maintained a good number of players (about 3k), level gap will be much smaller, one level or two even. You will end up facing same levels of you or close. And this problem will be fixed, and many balance problems actually. It's no wonder soon ED will make level range 10 or 20, due to lack of players. Because ED = players. I hope it doesn't reach that stage.

Yep this is what happens when you reach 38 sadly. 1v1 is 90% level 40's so 2v2 is really your only saving grace. Even if you do 2v2's more than half of the time you will fight against 2 level 40's. The alternative is doing NPC's, which in my opinion is worse than going solo against 40's. A tip for the 2v2 is to just use builds that have at least 2 burst damage or even a multi with good damage, and you should do well most of the time

good thing i only do 2vs2 until juggernaut is fixed, don;t have to worry about that problem. Also though, as soon as I hit level 36 this morning, i was paired with a 37 agaisnt a 39 and a rank 23 legendary. I logged off after that fight :/

Facing level 40s at your level shouldn't be too bad since only a handful of them are actually well ranked.

The whole legendary rank system is broken. They need to chamge ot to something that provides little to no battle advantage.
