So am I, very glad, I went from 5k credits to 2 million credits within 20 days (I missed the 7 first days).

I feel bad for players who got none or very few gifts, because that will be a problem for them in the future, since devs will introduce in the upcoming updates credits sink items (e.g Endless armor). Some players won't be able to buy them, and since they are credits sink, they will be pretty op. Even the majority of players have collected some gifts, not everyone collected a big amount of them.

So I hope, since ED introduced this system to bring many players back to the game (Including me), (I hope) devs take in consideration this:
Introducing credits sink items, which players will have to spend credits on (If they are not cool enough, players will not spend they credits on), yet balanced enough for players who were unlucky to collect enough gifts to get them. So the battles remain balanced, because frankly they are a:ready extremely unbalanced at certain levels.

A Credits sink achievement is a pretty good example (Yet not many players spend credits on).

eh...I hope Ed doesn't raise prices to much because I haven't been very active on ED gift opportunities. I have 15k varium but only 40k creds. Hopefully most of the high credit items like Endless armor will have fair varium options too.

I received 8 gifts during the whole event [X(]

Worlds were always full... I guess it was my fault for not keeping up with Twitter updates.

It baffles me how some players were able to stay AFK during giftings, as the server would kick me out unless I kept moving around. But since I had nothing to do for a couple of days I was able to make more credits than I've ever had, by which I mean 300K. In addition to receiving more than enough shards and the endless spirit for the armour, saving me 100K alone. Rather satisfied with the outcome, haha :)

It's a concern of mine as well as to whether or not future items will cost a fortune. Because frankly I'm not one of the lucky players who have saved up millions of credits. Hopefully there will only be bikes and the like that don't matter in PvP.

Lol i missed out on the whole thing. I hadn't logged in for months and just realized what i had missed out on when i logged in on the 30th. Managed to pick up 1500 credits though. :D

I see Nemesis got the alpha gear. But what's with the weird golden polar bear?? Looks not so right?? Is it made "ride-able" or something?? idk, doesn't seem right to me. It's not properly set. It looks like the character is stuck to the side of the polar bear instead of riding it!

^Just hiding the character will not do. The character needs to be raised up a little, or it's gonna look like the character is half burred in the polar bear instated of riding it.


Anyway it's quite disappointing that players spent thousands of varium and just got a "polar bear(vehicle)"???? Seriously?? So much money spent for this??? Wow. You gotta be kidding me. -.-"

I thought it was going to be a bot with some cool core at least.

It was said that it would be a vehicle when this started. They're not going to give something that gives an advantage in PvP to a tiny amount of players.

Just like the regular non-golden polar bear vehicle, it is intended that your character mutates into the polar bear instead of riding it, which is why simply hiding the character will work.

The prizes were clearly stated at the beginning of the event and any players who were trying to reach the leaderboards should have been fully aware of the prizes. Whether or not there will be additional prizes due to the overwhelming response to this competition is up to the devs. Also, only allowing 10 players to have a bot with an exclusive core would cause a lot of balance/unfair complaints.

Only hiding the character will make only the head and partial neck visible. Which is going to look super weird. It will look as if the polar bear is an empty "tank" and the character is just stuffed in with the head only visible.

Anyway i don't even have, why do i care? And talk about imbalance, what about the people that currently cannot afford to buy promo pack?? what about that?? Aren't the new skill cores giving the "rich" player an advantage?? But apparently that's not imbalance...

That imbalance thing is just an excuse. And it's not like i said some super-duper 1 move knock out core or something. Just something useful in battle, nothing unfair, just something limited to few really deserving players!

@Soul prisoner clearly you have a misunderstanding of what a transformation is supposed to do and how hiding a character makes it work. So here is the Blood Hawk Transformation. The character model for OWA is still standing in the same spot as the hawk but the character model is set to hidden so all you see if the hawk.

So hiding the character on the Golden bears will make you just see the bear

Read what the guy said, they will hide the WHOLE character. And this a mutation, like blood hawk mutation, and a golden version of Polar bear.

If it happened you saw "Polar Bear" mutation before, this is just the golden version of it. So the whole character will be hidden.

I thought they meant to make it ride-able...but they meant complete mutation!

Riding is way cooler. And makes sense and makes it special. If it's going to be mutation, then the only diff between the season polar bear and this one is color... Just like golden yeti. Lol. at least that was a bot! [:D]

We don't give away ETA anymore (unless 100% sure), in case there are any further delays - lesson learnt from previous delays.

Yeah, an ETA was given in the DNs, saying that the update is coming on friday.

ED releases on Fridays, so it was expected by many to have a release today - as opposed to x release getting delayed. Think Omega update; how it was postponed more than once.

Even though ED usually releases on friday, friday it self is an ETA, as ED doesn't always release updates on a sharp timing. Sometimes not even on friday itself.
