The berserker killer -> Hide builds (1/4/2015 14:57:07)

Hide everything from Strength to Support. Keep Focus and just show everything from Primary to Resistance. Don't show the level of the skills on the skill tree, just their damage. That's all you gotta see to win a match.

I might be missing something so please tell me what you think.

The way I see it will increase diversity

What if an OP build comes out, how can you encounter it?

I think you need to see everything to know how to deal with it.

You can see someones Priary/Sidearm str which is a fair representation of the strength category.

You will be able to see someones Bot Damage, which is a fair indicator of a focus build or not.

You will be able to see someones Aux damage, which is a fair representation of their Support Category.

You will be able to see someones defense which is also a fair indicator of their dex just as their Resistance will be a fair indicator of their technology stats.

^ That's my point. Let's suppose you found a counter build for it. But there would be more. As 98% of ED population is now just copying builds, most of them are just 9 year olds who can't do math.

From another aspect. When this suggestion is implemented, everyone will use typical dominating build. As 5 Focus that can encounter all builds. Or strenght.

Exactly and that's the thing, if this gets implemented there will always be more to a build rather than just the build. Every little thing, every stat point, every armor point will come into play. Armor points, weapon points, you name it, and even if everyones using a typical dominating build they will/should nearly all be different at the same time.

^ I think a 5 focus build is clear, put 45 in everything, higher tech, put armor stats in dexterity, that's about it. For skills also, each class has skills for 5 focus and that's about it.

Everyone will be defensive more than creative.

You can't tell what over 500 people are going to do lol. I mean maybe most of them would do that put id put my extra stats into support so I can go first, others might put theirs into strength so they are stronger, etc.

This idea is creativity within itself
