How long does the poll run for? :o

Kian -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/8/2015 20:05:27)

Awesome pieces by the whole lot of you! Good luck contestants! (won't say who I voted for :D)

Arthur -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/8/2015 20:07:45)

Thanks Kian.

I agree that the competition this time is amazing, both for written works and artworks.

Misty_kitty -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/8/2015 20:13:22)

Good luck everyone!

Aurauris -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/8/2015 23:11:18)

Holy smokes, what incredible efforts and results this round from everyone, hee! We spectators have been absolutely spoiled by y'all's masterpieces. Congratulations to all for such wonderful submissions.

Misty_kitty:
I'm immensely impressed with your hand-coloring! Each hue is very smooth, and the arrangement of your elements very clear to the viewer.

ChaosRipjaw:
Your attention to detail without overwhelming the eye is stunning! I love especially how you include meaningful pieces that tie into the work as a whole, like the graffiti on the right wall.

pitties:
What a delicious, bright pop of digital color! The use of the high-rise as the setting of your drawing is very unique as well.

Arthur:
I love how you dipped your toes into surrealism here— it took me a few moments to decipher all the swirled perspective angles, which really drew me in to soak up those awesome colors.

afb728:
Despite the lack of your favored ballpoint pens, I think your sketch turned out beautifully! The lines are quite clean, the colors soft, and your portrayal quite curiosity-making, hee.

Lupus the Wolf:
What pleases me the most about your piece is the overall balance; you draw the eye toward the middle with a gradual increase in detail, and all the elements are spaced comfortably, yet cozily with symmetry. I especially love how the scene is similar to a pop-up book, but also seems to fade into "pixels". My vote falls to you, good sir!

Flamehead 12:
Your AE-inspired piece is epic! The colors are gorgeous, and the setting very intriguing with a sure-to-come battle, aha. Great work.

Dragonnightwolf:
The blend of colors in your piece gives a very dream-like feel as a whole, supported by the curves in place of straighter lines, and the strong presence of the sky. Lovely surrealism!

Flamehead 12 -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 0:30:26)

im not sure were pyropuppy got his link to my image, because I posted the original sized image in the submission forum were it was much clearer and beautiful to see.
I hope you see the original size first before you vote, it just looks so much better (to me) when its the right size!

Arthur -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 0:53:35)

@Aurauris,

Thank you Madame Aura.^^

The fact that you like it so much makes me happy. This is the first time that I've tried a different art movement altogether so I am naturally nervous about the result.

Let's see. :')

PyroPuppy -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 11:06:10)

@Misty_kitty: 2 weeks as usual, sorry for the inconvenience.
@Flamehead 12: Both links direct me to the same page for me. Could either you or anyone else check it out as well? Is the original size smaller or larger?

Arthur -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 12:14:15)

I made a signature linking straight to the threads that we can wear in order to make forumites aware that such a contest is going on in the L&L and that their votes are required.

Kian -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 13:00:01)

Good job, Arthur! Proudly wearing this signature for the coming weeks. [:D]

Arthur -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 13:01:52)

Thanks Kian.^^

I remember the very first round of HHWR having a total of 53 votes which was really high. 14 and 9 are fairly less numbers in comparison to 53.

Also, we had the banner at the top of the forum homepage which attracted even more forumites to come.

Flamehead 12 -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 15:34:25)

hmm that's interesting.
it seems fixed now..

Misty_kitty -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/9/2015 22:25:01)

Oooh! Great way to attract more voters, Arthur! :)

Kian -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/10/2015 12:45:42)

Yeah, the first few rounds of the HHWR contest were probably the best. I especially enjoyed the one where some staff members took part. Miss Vox definitely proved herself worthy to be a teacher there. [:)] A pity that the interest decreased over time, BUT, it's good to see that people still participate. If it wasn't for college being so time-consuming...

Arthur -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/10/2015 13:33:32)

I genuinely enjoyed the First Round and this one was highly motivating to me.
Never had I thought that I'd have the energy to participate in both versions.

I am so glad that I could.

In any case, I can very well take a wild guess at the results and might end up right.^^

Dragonnightwolf -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/10/2015 15:04:30)

yeah I can too Arthur. This is the first time I participated in the writing portion.

Flamehead 12 -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/10/2015 15:11:40)

I say pyroPuppy should persuade the staff to vote ;D

Misty_kitty -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/10/2015 15:41:31)

We should totally get a round just for the forum staff to enter x'D

I think I'll join the next writing round, I love both writing and art :D

Kian -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/11/2015 12:03:59)

I agree with flamehead, or at least to give you guys some feedback, they did that a couple of rounds back, which was really nice

Dragonnightwolf -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/11/2015 13:07:22)

While it is possible, please do remember that PyroPuppy, and those members of the forum staff do get busy with their forum and rl objectives.

This statement includes the ArchKnights too. Very hard working people.

Kian -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/11/2015 17:48:40)

Well aware of that. It was merely a suggestion. Work comes first.

Misty_kitty -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/12/2015 21:53:21)

Wow! 30 31 total votes O_O

ChaosRipjaw -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/22/2015 14:30:12)

Congratulations Misty_kitty!

Also thanks to those who voted for me, it's appreciated!

Misty_kitty -> RE: Here's How We Roll Round 6 Poll (1/22/2015 18:25:33)

Oh, wow. xD

Thanks :D
